- The Sun Trip is a solar powered bike race from Lyon, France to Canton in China. Some 12,000km. We caught up with them on the second day in Chambery. There are 40 bikes leaving Lyon, 3 piloted by women. They can use sun and pedal power alone. No sneaky overnight charges of mains electricity. There is no support but riders are tracked using the Spot GPS system.

Ya that's smarter and economical band not so dangerous fer somebody just to ram into a solar panel stickin out from the back of single bike!! And their pedaling all the time what the hell is the battery used for if ya can't use a motor not to pedal what's the sense of that?????
some can do this but some are for assist
so imagen a steep hill tese bikes can pedal with almost no effort
