I like Daniel, I love the channel content but he at times does come across as authoritarian and uses his faith as a facade.
I’ve felt this way on many occasions where his demeanour just doesn’t sit right. Read Houston’s and DeeJay’s eyes when he interrupts them, they don’t dare challenge him. Then he goes onto playing Mr Niceguy once his power has been displayed.
I’m not judging, I’m observing and expressing my observations into words and I’m certain that’s what Heather Clayton is doing also.
Some of my best memories are going hunting and fishing with my Dad. The last time we went fishing was when he was 92, three years before he passed. It makes me so happy to see these men taking their children out and making lasting memories with them.

Sometimes dads can get so wrapped into the results of an endeavor with their kids that encouragement crosses over into browbeating. From the look on Houston's face and the sound of his voice (15:30ish) that may have started to happen here. It can sure suck the enjoyment out of a kid's day.

This is so interesting. I didn’t know they were an invasive species. Would love to do this. Houston you are so lucky that you get to experience so much.
Greetings from Puerto Rico, USA. We have a massive invasion of these things. they even cause a mess in the airports as they take over the runways. Over here many people have armed themselves with pellet/BB guns and rifles and they hunt them down. they do a lot of damage especially to crops. they are a nightmare for farmers. Some hunting groups have dedicated themselves to hunting them and selling their meat to panama where they are a main dish in panama culture. I have never eaten one but I've been told the taste and feel is similar to chicken.
When it gets cold enough in Florida, they go into a comatose state and he actually fall out of trees. You can walk around and just pick them up. That’s when everybody should be outside, hunting these things down.
Check out Python Cowboy’s UA-cam channel. He’s an experienced hunter of these things.
Donovan is cool to watch! This is on my bucket list along with the night bow fishing! Maybe one day I'll get there it is a 4+ hour drive but it would be great!

I had a pet iguana as a kid. He was awesome but I get it. That's crazy that it gets to be an invasive species like the wild hogs.
Yeah, no predator in the area and two pet iguanas that get out (or worse yet dumped) turn into 50 wild iguanas. They destroy a lot, not just for humans but native species as well.
Well, at least they don't go to waste. Most of the time people make tacos or heed them to their pigs and make dog food. Yes, pigs love to eat Iguanas so do dogs, there's not much they won't eat. Saves livestock farmers lots of money on supplement feed. It doesn't taste like chicken. It has its own taste, tastes kinda sweet like fruit. or sweet pork. Hard to explain but it's really good. I have a pet iguana too. He's a big 18lb breeder male with huge jowls.

I'd watch gardening with them. I watch gardening on other channels. I enjoy a wide variety of interests, tho some I'll never personally get to do, I find them all most interesting. Good to learn new things, new ways of doing old things.

Huston for as young as you are and the skill needed to blow correctly you did a phenomenal job. Very proud of your stick to it try again attitude. Even though it was probably hard to stay excited and take the breathe you did it. Daniel very good letting him experience this and encouraging him to believe in himself. When I was a kid Paul Ster in Lindsay used to have two of those things for years at the feed store. You would walk in and they would be laying on some trees they had made for them. One night the electric went out and they froze to death after 20 years.ps Daniel your full of hot air you should of had good power darts lol I'm teasing pard. I enjoyed it.

I found that when blowing my dart gun I call it a spit take method. Take a deep breath and in one rapid exhale like you gonna spit on someone. However, everyone has their own method.

I see a lot of comments on how sensitive Huston is and how he is a for lack of a better term a cry baby but I don't see that. What I see is a little boy trying his best and 636k viewers that have something to say about everything he does and experiences. I think the greatest thing is that with your UA-cam channel success "which I think Huston is a big part of" that he and you get to build some great memories.
Houston is not a cry baby, but he sure is competitive, even with his Dad. I just wonder what Houston will be like when he gets involved in sports----competition is a good thing, and maturity will "smooth" the frustration he feels even when he works for his goal. He does not give up.
I think it's understanding that he would get frustrated. He's young, extremely competitive, and very good at everything he tries sportswise, a very unique person and talent with a wide range of interests. To experience difficulty in learning a new skill, especially one that uses lung capacity as part of it, proved a challenge for him. But he figured it out and rose to the challenge.. You can bet he will be ready to give his Dad a run for his money next time. Everything is a learning curve. Glad his Dad has the foresight and ability to allow Houston to experience as much as he can so he will be a well rounded adult in the future.
