The mini Herefords want one of those big, revolving cattle brushes for Christmas! Rufus and the girls might like it too.
Daniel, DJ, Weston, EmmaLee and Houston - wishing y'all a very Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas and happy new year.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year🎄🎄🎄🎄
I o
Hi Daniel, Enjoying your videos. I melted the soles of my boots when I walked over my burn pile a solid week after the fire went out. Don't underestimate how long it takes to completely cool down.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. I look forward to seeing your videos. Daniel's calm voice makes my day brighter.
I believe you said some of them trees were hedge. If they were they make good fence posts. It's been said that a hedge post will outlast two post holes.
For normal grapple work I have 400 lb wheel weights and fluid filled tires. When I need more stability for heavy work on steep ground I add a 1200 lb. 3pt. weight box as per the recommendation in my owners manual. Seasons greetings Arms family
Always release the pressure of the hydraulics by rotating all your hydraulic controls after you shut the engine off to unhook your lines when taking off backhoe or loader. That way your not under pressure when you disconnect or connect your hydraulic lines.
Most lines will have so much pressure you can't unhook them without doing so.
Happy holidays, you all helped me get through 2020 and 2021. Be safe
Where's the fun in being safe xD
That was very unnecessary and rude uanimal yt
It was a joke dude
Yup that's a fun experience when your lifting something and realize the back tires are raising at the same time .. wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas 🎄🎄
Points of interest: I NEVER run my tractor without weight in the back, when using front-end attachments. OR the other way around. That keeps the counter weight distributed as best as possible. I also always run the attachment as low to the ground as possible, to keep from having rollovers. In your video, you can see if you put a brush hog (for weight) on the back the tire would have better traction. BE SAFE OUT THERE.
Got anymore brain busters?
Fill the back tires, you can add wheel weights and spacers. Some folks buy a weight box that hooks on the three point hitch. Need to think about balance all the time.
Good evening to Arms Family Homestead and all others too. It's been great all year round of 2021 of watching your channel. I was enjoying you all showing others how you and your family work out on the farm with different activities. I'm going continue watching your channel as always. Sending prayers for everyone and everything continue on going good. Merry Christmas to everyone i pray you enjoy and stay safe, Houston got a big surprise ! Hugs to all.😄😄
He is always informative and interesting and I love to watch the animals in the videos. You can tell they really trust him and enjoy his presence. That little bull is really cute.
I love watching your videos who agrees that he makes everybody happy
Made me very happy
BJ’s cows would love one of those hanging/pivoting brushes for scratching and also as a head butt toy.
It's enjoyable watching you with your new toy. 😉.
You and DeJay were great in the commercial you did for the outdoor show.
Merry Christmas to you Daniel and your family.
Look how calm those cattle are near that brush fire. Amazing!☺
I enjoyed seeing how that backhoe came off .
In my experience Ballast Weight is everything on a tractor. I’m sure it will do much better once you get fluid in those tires
Had a LS tractor that was set up the same way. Was easy to remove but a pain to reinstall.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year Arms family. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to everyone. Remember the reason for the season. May y'all have a great upcoming year. With God all things is possible.
When you have no weight on the back of your tractor and Caleb with the front end we need to leave the front in in full drive so the front tires will help pull your tractor
Been looking forward to an upload all day 😂😂
like your tractor. protect the seat from the weather looks like a lot fun and work saver
Daniel, DJ, Weston, EmmaLee and Houston -Wishing you a Merry Christmas from my family to yours
It's really nice that you can burn the brush and branches! It's a lot better than having to haul it off!! I Love Tractors!! God Bless and have a Wonderful Evening!! 😀⚘❤🎄
Maybe one of these days you will get Joe a cow brush. He would love it
May you and your family have a merry, merry Christmas.
If you don't want to mess with the tires you can buy or build a ballast box for the back of your tractor. It makes a big difference.
Houston are a great caretaker for the animals on the farm and other activities too. He knows a lot he's a guide just like Daniel and Emily too that's great. . Merry Christmas to everyone i pray we all enjoy and stay safe. I gone on my Christmas Vacation From Houston, Texas to my old home town of Ruleville, Mississippi . Pray me and my family stay safe. God Bless You All.
You might also check and see if they have the weights that sit on your frame they look sort of like the weights on a weight bench but with a slit in them. We had them back in the dark ages. MOST of the time they were on the front end. That is what the bar on the front of the older tractors was for, to hold the weights. Glad to see they have a different attachment system for the backhoe. Had one with it and the backhoe was great for things around the house BUT being attached to the 3 point made it very rough on the tractor. When you go to hook it back up, TAKE YOUR TIME and have someone there to spot you for the filter. Good job and God bless
O wow I have to say with the three point staying on the tractor with the backhoe attachment that is super awesome the versatility on that is great.
I would put a shed over concrete pad right where it's sitting off the tractor. And Merry Christmas to you and family
Hey Daniel have you thought about gathering some of those ashes and let your chickens use it for a dust bath to help combat parasites?
Great for the garden too
Great idea
Cog Hills mentioned ashes to prevent mites in today's video.
Daniel wishing you and the family a Merry Christmas as we are traveling tomorrow to head up North to the snowy Wisconsin North Woods. We enjoy watching each and every post you make.
Be careful coming up. There has been bits of rain here and there and several semis ran into each other this am due to very slippery interstate roads. Not to far from Eau Claire. Be safe and Happy Holidays!
We live in Eau Claire Wisconsin and the goofy weather last week when we got about 9 inches has pretty much disappeared
Sending love and wishes for a very HaPpY and Blessed Christmas to you, Daniel, DJ, Weston, EmmaLee and Houston! ❤🌲❤
It also doesn't hurt to put some wood blocks under your backhoe attachment, to keep it from settling over time. Tractor time with Tim uses Beet juice for loading the tires, I guess it doesn't rot anything ? I bet your cattle would love an old street sweeper broom, the 6' round ones ?
Merry Christmas Arms family and of course, everyone else !
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that you moved the grapple for the bull.. LoL... Merry Christmas and many blessings to you in the New Year to the Arms family..
That because of the short wheel base but it is a good tractor overall you could make a concrete balance that attached to the three-point hitch
You will love having your tires loaded and I would say put at least 1000 pounds in them. But that was a good test and you didn’t get hurt so that’s what counts . I enjoy watching your videos, thanks for sharing them
You have to remember to turn off the tractor then cycle the hydraulics to ease the removable four you too unhook the lines
I wish I knew how to drive a tractor as looks like fun to me. Smart thing to check out the counter balance. Really enjoyed this and wish y'all a Merry Christmas. Thanks and Love y'all.
Merry Christmas to the arms family from Kingston Queensland Australia
Cow: He's at it again!
Bull: Yeah but scratchin's gooooood.
If I can suggest, dig a hole next to the stump end of the fire. When the fire gets down to the stumps, push them in the hole. This will hold the heat and burn the stumps to a fine ash. We found an area of our property and dug a large hole and drag our trees and brush to the"fire pit" and burn a couple times a year.
Merry Christmas! God bless you and your family!
Hi from Syracuse NY brother and thank you for sharing your thoughts and adventures with your family and everyone else and your farm
Gotta love ballast!!!
It sure works wonders.
Daniel .. you might need to either order or make you a small counter wight for the tractor ... that would help it a lot .. maybe one with cement ... and a steel rod that connects with the 3 point hitch ..
Wishing the Arms Family Homestead a blessed and safe Christmas! ❤️🙏🏻✝️🇺🇸
Thank you for the t shirt and beans, great show
Merry Christmas 🌲🎅 to an Awesome family (AFH)
Daniel, Deejay, Weston, Emmalee, Houston and to AFH weirdest herd.
I enjoy watching and love your videos.
Great video! I have a tree puller attached to the quick attach on my Tym T454 (same tractor, different HP) and can attest that the rear tires will come clear off the ground. If you get a rear will slip, mash down on the pedal to your lower right (rear differential lock). If both rear tires then spin kick it into FWD. Also be Very careful about off-center loads (like that big tree). The loader arms aren't meant to have a huge twisting moment applied to them and will bend your loader arms (you can imagine how expensive THAT would be). Merry Christmas and keep on Tractoring!
Let me guess. Mike Morgan talked you in to a Land Plane. They do work fantastic. Merry Christmas Arms family.
Wishing you the happiest of holidays. Lovely family. will be watching you always. God's Blessings to you all
Merry Christmas Arms Family

Wishing all of the Arms family a wonderful holiday season!!
Wishing all the Arms Family a very Merry Christmas
Happy holidays. I wish I had a life like yours . You are living the dream life and I know you worked very hard for every bit of it and you deserve all you have . You have a awesome family and your doing life right. I'm the same age as you and I've gone down the opposite road thanks to addiction . Not wanting a pitty party but if I didn't wake up tomorrow that would be a good day. I was a good person once upon a time ago. Just don't take one second of what you have for granted cherish it.
May your Christmas be joyful and a blessing.
Iol, testing . Boys will be boys. No matter the age. The bull likes the scratching post. Funny. What about bucking up some of the trees, then push the burn closer. Seen some long trees in it. The herd isn't afraid of the fire, weird.
🎄🙏🇨🇦😊👍
Still, all in all you've got a great little work horse in that tractor!! Merry Christmas and stay safe in the coming New Year.
Merry Christmas to the Arms Family from Lori Martin from Kansas City, Missouri. And a Happy New Years.
Wishing the Arms Family a very, very Merry Christmas and a very safe and Prosperous New Year!!
Daniel, your skilled enough with a welder to build a structure for your 3 point hitch to add counter balance weight maybe a box you can add scrap steel and Iron ya could look at around for abandoned train tracks collect enough weight to offset the center of gravity on your tractor. just a few ideas.
Wow, that burned down well... Nice to get things cleaned up I'm sure. Wow, he better be careful, lol loved how he scratched on the bucket! lol
Merry Christmas to You, D.J., Weston, Emma Lee, and Houston!!🎄🎁
Merry Christmas to you and the family hope you all have a great time
Normally over the decades tires were filled with calcium chloride. It is corrosive and isn't the rim or wheels friend. I found for mine, beet juice. Yes, beet juice. Works wonderfully and will never corrode. Iron wheel weights are also very effective as an addition to loading the tires and aren't expensive.
So glad to see you and know your family is well. God bless you all in the New Year.
wishing you and all your loved ones a very merry Christmas and a blessed new year!
Wishing the Arms family a very Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas to your family and friends May the next year be as blessed as last year was
You & your brother have a crazy work ethic I hope to have one day
Country View Acres just got a Land Leveler. He was very happy with it.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Looks Like Santa Claus needs to bring a counterweight attachment for your tractor, plus some scratching brush stand for your herefords ....
Have a happy Holiday and god bless
Kind of reminds me of my 2 brothers playing with their Tonka toy trucks on Christmas morning. LOL! Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
You will have to cover it up with a tarp to protect it from the weather and probably prop yet up off the ground the back end of it where it came off the tractor
Thanks, Arms Family Homestead for sharing this video with me i really enjoyed it about Don't Try This at Home Kids! it was a really good video and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR and God Bless.
Thinking for the cows, would a post running horizontally like the top of a fence at the height so the cows could scratch their backs. I think back in the day farmers would put grease on them to keep bugs away
You could make a counter weight with a barrel filled with rocks/cement that hooks on your 3 point. Cheaper idea for y'all.
You need to get a couple of those large scratching polls for livestock.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas season. The babe is born!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family.
May God continue to bless you and keep you in His safety into 2022.
