Pi Shawl
Excellent. You do a marvelous job, and you don't skip a detail.
Thank you. Happy knitting.
this is such an unbelievably smart way to do this
Thank you.
OMG, Suzanne you are my knitting guru! I always know I can go to you to get the most beautiful and efficient way to do things. And I wasn’t disappointed this time either. I just finished my 198 yards of Heaven shawl and followed this method for blocking it. Thank you, thank you, it’s absolutely brilliant. So easy and fast. Thank you again ❤️
You are so welcome!
Good idea to use those bulb pins to secure the points while blocking!
Thank you Janet! Happy knitting.
Pinning it out dry first, then leaving the pins in place while the piece soaks is a great idea, as it using the bulb pins. Thanks for the great tips!
Thank you. Please subscribe if you haven't already, and share with your social media friends! Happy knitting.
mslaceyrose Lacey's I agree! I never would have thought of it! I’m halfway through a large lace shawl. It will be my first lace shawl and I’m so eager to see it blocked now!
Fantastic! Thank you so much for showing us how to do these things 🎉
You are brilliant! This makes so much sense! Thx for sharing.
You are so welcome!
This is one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve seen in knit lace!
Thank you so much! Happy knitting.
Brilliant!
Thank you Qlty Grl! Happy knitting.
I see you measuring from the middle. How do you know what the measurement should be or is it just to get each point the same length from center?
Usually in your pattern directions, they will give you the finished measurements for teh project, you would use those as your guidelines.
What kind of board are you using to stick the pins in?
I'm using Styrofoam, which can be purchased inexpensively at a fabric or hobby store, or even leftovers from Amazon packaging work. 😊
