The one thing I noticed about how you price things is, you don't ask for an arm or a leg or both at the same time. You price things so reasonably and that really impresses me. Sometimes people price things that are antique store prices and collectors like me who are only buying for ourselves can't afford the item. Thank you and I hope other sellers read this and see that you can make money without your customers breaking their banks!

Well I beg to differ a bit...but not all people are lucky enough to live in FL where GW give discounts (ours do not and in fact their prices for most items are going up and up) and estate sales are plentiful and loaded with treasures. I know because I used to live in Sarasota
There is no way I could price as she does, pay fees and make any money. I watch for her wonderful knowledge..THANK YOU

I got really lucky and scored that Holt Howard Jam N Jelly Jar at my salvation army for 75 cents, I couldn't believe it. I was just at an antique store I hadn't been to in ages and saw a whole bunch of the others you mentioned. The Jam N Jelly Jar was included in that lot and they were asking $130 a piece for them.

I can remember the women in my family NOT liking Pixieware. It had a cartoonish look and was the total opposite of carnival glass and elegant glass pieces they had been use too. Idk if others felt the same, but whenever I find it, it seems to be in almost mint condition. Who knows why? LOL

Hi. I am beginning to think that the egg cup marked "Coq Rouge" is NOT Holt Howard, even though most pieces on eBay are identified as such. You either find the white porcelain pieces marked "Coq Rouge" with no other marks (I have seen one with a paper sticker that read "Japan" but NOT the HH Holt Howard label), or you find them stamped "Holt Howard" with a date of 1960, 1961 or 1962 with, or without, the Holt Howard paper label. You would think that, if they were by Holt Howard, one piece, at least, would have the Holt Howard stamp or sticker. I've seen the pieces marked "Coq Rouge" identified as French deco 1930's pieces but I have no idea why. Just as thought. The "Coq Rouge" pieces have a different look. Anyway, just an observation.

I noticed you said that if something says Korea that it's got to be 50s or 60s because its before Korea split. I thought the split happened in 1945. Can you help me understand? I have a couple of coffee mugs from Korea I'm trying to date. Thank you!

From all my research cups such as those with the gold date to late 50's or early 60's Tina

even possibly to the late 60's, the research on the glasses is based on the style and gold glitter design. The war actually ended in 1953, but I am sure you knew that. :) I have had coffee mugs made in Korea that I have sold that dated to around mid 50's/60's most of the ceramic and glassware atleast that I have found have all dated to around that age Tina :) hope that helps....

@@thrifting101...identifybuy3 thank you! I found two coffee mugs marked Korea with yellow tulips on them. I was thinking they looked 50s or 60s but I'm really new to this so I'm struggling identifying them.
