Finally an accurate real world sound test !!! I have the CR 483 in the box waiting along with rest of the stuff for install.You just made my decision for me 👍 on exhaust.Been looking at the SP and Sawicki. The SP is much more controllable sound wise, Sawicki is always loud. The CR cam will stay on as long as you need it in a skirmish, I've used them in the past. I had a tough time between 483 and CR 480 MT(Monster Torque).I like my top end and 117's are already brute's down low,hence the CR 483 . Idle is my favorite it's got a contrary type lope. Great video and bike.👏👏👏

Been on the fence about swapping my exhaust, been sporting an oldschool supertrapp thats been great for 4 years, no issues, good sound and performance, however I really love the look of a shorty stainless steel pipe, might just be ordering this one as I’ve heard some questionable things about Sawicki lately…

What’s your opinion on the Bassani True Duals? I see they fit the ST but can’t find anyone that’s went that direction as everyone goes for 2-1. Is there a downside other than price on going duals on the ST?

Yeah, that cam/exhaust combo sounds great ! My question is, what kind of backrest/luggage system are you going to use ? Those clamshell bags don't look like they hold much. You might be wishing for your Road Glide & its bags for that Milwaukee trip. I'll keep watching.....

Ordered the same exhaust for my new 23 RG ST. Turn around was a little over 2 weeks. Now just waiting on my 135 from the motor co.
I have a Vance and Hines slip on on my bike and it hurts my ear in about an hour of ride . Doesn’t these loud exhaust make long distance ride uncomfortable that you cannot survive without ear plugs. I’m planning to go back to screaming eagle OEM upgrade because of this issue. I wonder how you cope with this loud sound over a long period of time on the saddle.
For sure… no way anyone’s ears will last without plugs. Esp if you ride everyday, long distance or not. Even them tough guys will lose their hearing. Lol.
I have to wear ear plugs (and wear a full face helmet) even if the exhaust is quiet.
