Good observation BIll, thanks for pointing that out! The idea with the TV tool was to illustrate the power of trend following on an intraday basis. The 1% on a 1000 account is arbitrary; the concept of locking in a positive risk vs reward was what I was aiming for. Great eye...I like it...ALWAYS QUESTION EVERYTHING! I have two friends one is Forex trader and another one is Commodities trader, I am interested in both. Both friends love their expertise and praise it. I can`t choose one, I really need a person who would tell me which is more difficult to trade, which one has more profitability less loss ratio. Which one is less stressful. Which one can lead to millions sooner if done properly. At the end of the day, we all trade because of money. I am personally not greedy, not emotional person. I really want to choose one and become an expert in it. Because I believe that it is not good to trade all instruments at the same time. Better to choose one narrowing the focus. Hey Iron Mike! The forex and commodity markets are very different arenas. If I had to pick one market to focus on, I would pick commodities. Why? Consistent volatility. To make money in the markets one needs volatility; often, many forex pairs go flat for extended periods of time. With commodities, there is always some action in either metals, energies, or agricultural. That's just my two cents, there are opportunities everywhere; the best thing to do is decide what type of trader you want to be, then build a strategy to become that trader. Best of luck!

Meaning a strong or surging oil prices mean a strong Canadian dollar,vice versa?
@@wetradeforex1 Absolutely. The Canadian dollar is a commodity dollar with a strong positive correlation to crude oil. About 7-9% of Canadian GDP comes from fossil fuels; this means that rising oil prices boost the CAD, while falling oil prices hurt the CAD. 👍
