  • Spreading dirt with the dozer to shape a yard. Moved another 40 loads with the Hydrema and knocked them down with the dozer to start shaping the yard. The dirt is pretty wet so I knock it down to help it dry quicker then go back and grade it some more. By the end of the week I have moved 195 loads in the Hydrema, I'm probably going to move that entire pile to build everything up on the property they want. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Komatsu #Hydrema

Yes, you've taken many tons of dirt out of that pile, but it looks like you've only just barely touched it. I think it was really smart going back over the tilled area while empty a few times - less weight and less rutting. But I guess in the end they don't mind because they want to facilitate moving that dirt. I see Mr. Drone was happily flying around and stayed away from those telephone poles & lines. And that was some wind and dust - glad we were inside the cab, LOL! This project is coming along nicely.

Yeah I figured it would do less damage but you’re right they didn’t mind so I just kept at it. Yeah the drone is good as new now, that wind was crazy too! Appreciate you guys watching

Brandon, ask the owner if he would like you too use the rippers on your dozer and rip the area you were driving on. Would help with soil compaction. Looking good, your dozer made short work of busting the piles.

I’m reminded of a story my grandma used to tell about how after WW2 my grandpa got a job in the east Texas oil fields and they moved from Pennsylvania. My grandpa used to get so mad because the house was always dusty and he blamed his wife for being lazy. Well my GREAT-grandma (his mom) just happened to be visiting and she stood up for grandma and blamed the “God forsaken winds” being the constant culprit.
Well I guess grandpa was OCD because the dust bothered him so much they moved back east less than a year later. Now I see why…😊

I could definitely see that after working out here for awhile. The house will always be dusty at least when they are tilling and planting.

That is really windy there. Good thing that dirt is a little wet. If it was dry, you’d probably loose a 1/3 of the load from that wind blowing it off. 😂. Great job Brandon.

If that wind got any stronger, you'd have to put on your ruby slippers and start chanting "there's no place like home". That looks like a beautiful place to work/live. I've never been to Kansas, but I think I might like to visit some day. Lookin good brother.

lol yeah I was wondering if it was going to blow the hydrema over. It is really nice out here. It may get a little annoying with town being so far but it’s definitely peaceful

Doncha hate it when you have so much top soil you don’t know where to use it all?
It was awesome watching the dirt wave roll as you drove across the field. It almost looked like an ocean of dust. Reminds me of my dad’s description of the Great Dust Bowl days of his youth.

I’d say with all that wind I would be curious how much top soil gets displaced.you have come a long way,but still more to go..great video as always.😎😎😎👍👍👍

I bet a fair amount they actually held off a day planting the corn cause the farmer said you would lose a lot of topsoil from the wind. Makes sense

Early on I must've missed something on this project. From what I understand the dirt you are moving came from dredging the lake. From the drone shots it looks like there is a lot more that needs to be dredged. What is that area above your pile? It looks like a drained swampy area that could use some of that dirt to bring it up level with the field. It's hard to gain the right perspective from just watching the videos. Keep up the good work. You're making short work of moving that dirt especially by yourself.

They actually just cleared and burned that area they are going to turn it into a sediment pond. They also plan to make this pond a little bigger when I get this piled moved too

I liked 912s before you bought one, but every time you break yours out, I think about how I could use one.

My body clock is NOT in sync with your dropping videos but I hear you loud & clear so now I can watch! Say, was that house always on that angle? I mean the wind didn't adjust it's placement, ya think? Things are lookin great considering all the miles of to & from! Thank you for another one!
