I have a 2006 H3 for the past 11 years. Great car! I experienced that same problem about three times. Someone used the key to manually open the door instead of using the remote access/clicker. The anti-theft system became engaged and the car refused to start. I was told told to sit in the drivers seat for about ten minutes with all the doors and windows closed and the key out the ignition. After the ten minutes I pressed the unlock button on the remote key, placed the key in the ignition and it started. The same procedure worked well all three times. I should say that the H3 has a great Anti-theft system. You just have to be careful as not to accidentally engage it.
Make sure your battery terminals are clean and tight. Also clean and tighten where the wires screw into the battery terminals (two screws where wires go into battery terminals) you need to make sure all grounds are clean and tight.
Where are the intake sensor wires connected? I bought a Hummer this week and the sensor is there, but the connector with the wires are gone. The old owner must have disappeared with him, I don't know. I would like to know the path of the sensor wire input to its final destination. Thank you
Just replaced the throttle body and cleared the codes. Still wouldn't start, disconnected the battery for about 30 minutes and reconnected it then started right up. The fly on the throttle body replaced was completely stuck closed. Hope this helps. -Nick Benton
FYI had issues with my 2006 H3 pass lock light on dash cluster, no power could not put in Neutral, 0 power on anything. Pulled battery only 3 years old had tested at auto zone. Read battery needed charged I went ahead and told them i charged it for 6 hours on a charger don’t Bother. 185.00 dollars and 10 minutes she’s back and running great. Sometimes it’s the simple things...... just saying
Paul Herbert Yes like the one ☝️ in the video was a main fuse! Battery 🔋 problem yes! Create mayor problem in today’s computer control modules! And bad alternator ripple even you don’t have the Alt light 💡 on! So is a great area and yes you should start with the simple and most easy to check a blowout fuse! For battery 🔋 problem I put my jump pack and take that out of the way went I do trouble shooting!
@@PeteSambolin Hummer H2...cranks on fist start...drives good. Park it for ten minutes...it takes looong time to turn over and start. New bat, new alt, (no) engine codes. No lights on dash. :( where do i start?
Destaye Hi 👋 sounds like fuel delivery problem! You see the have too do what they call in the tech world a AMP Current test... this test determinate the RMP you’re fuel pump motor is running! A fuel pump that’s is running let’s say from 3,000 to 4,000 RPM means is a fuel pump with fuel delivery problem. A good known fuel pump runs 6,000 to 8,000 RPM . No DTC in memory give you a direction that is something mechanical not a sensor...
Destaye went you su long time to start ? Or is like no power in the battery 🔋 and is cranking with difficulty to turn the engine!? Like is dragging ..!?
Its your transmission shifter handle.. put it in park and bang on it. You will see the button pop out a few millimeters or more.. key will unlock and come out

chris zanev for this particular problem you really have to stop in any Advance Auto Parts store and address the problem that you have! They have a very accurate machine that can determine what’s wrong! The machine have a Amp probe clamp that’s go in the battery negative and went all the accessories Ignition switch is OFF and then wait a few minutes so the computers go to sleep! The Machine should be under 50 milliamp if is more than 50 milliamp that’s is way is killing your battery!
Lol true.. I changed it on my Cobalt ss but it was a given had to keep boosting it I'm boosting a h3 lol but we gonna try the comment section wait ten minute thing
I have a 2006 h3 hummer it won't crank it won't start, it no sound at all, no light at all on showing up on the vehicle, it in the shop, they say it not the battery, they still trying to find out what is wrong, its frustrating. Some one any one please help me.
Any luck with your hummer? Running into same issue. 3rd battery and new terminals (since October). Ive read it could be the ignition system, onstar & stock radio pulling too much power from battery when truck not on.
