WOW thank you so much ! I haven't been wild camping yet but I'm looking into it and I've noticed that camping spots are some kind of taboo. Never ask and never tell.
    Thanks again this is amazing

Oh my word! I am so thankful for your map tool. I'm looking at doing the Blackwater Way and there were a couple trouble spots that I couldn't figure out and your map is super helpful. Thanks a million!

Fantastic resource, thanks for taking the time to put it out there. Bummed to see Dursley Island cable car is closed April-Nov this year. Where would you recommend staying the night after reaching the cable car spot?

Get a taxi back to Bearhaven and plenty of hotels/b&bs there.

My pleasure, glad it helped! Plenty of places to camp throughout the hike so don't sweat it too much.
You doing the whole thing or just the Irish section? Any questions feel free to get in touch anytime.

Great video. Thanks for the info. It's crazy how difficult it is to find this kind of information, even just to do the Wicklow way in Ireland.

@@PatrickNoonan I sure will! 😁 I have also been looking do hike a part of the E8 in Germany. I live about 5 days of hiking from Aachen and my aunt lives 2 days of hiking from Rothenburg. Total about 40 days, sounds good, doesn't it... 😁 But I first have to have more time to do stuff like that...

What's the general rule of thumb for wild camping in Ireland? The gist I'm getting out of the UK is sort of a "don't ask, don't get caught, don't make an arse of yourself and you'll be fine". Is it similar in Ireland?
I'd like to try the whole E8, if I can! At the very least, Ireland, Scotland, and Switzerland are on the top of my list for hikes in Europe.

Yeah that's pretty much it, out of sight, out of mind and you'll be fine.

Question. there was a part that u skipped because it was to dangerous to do on ur own,but i could not untherstand the reason ( english is not my language :-) ) can u explain to me pls . greetings

Hey, no worries, my Irish accent can be tough :)
Essentially I was saying two big storms had just passed through and the forecast wasn't looking good. That area is notoriously boggy and with all the rain I thought it might be a little dangerous to try it alone.

Hello! I am really really wanting to try this out this summer. I have a few more questions, is there a way we can be in communication for me to ask more in depth questions? I can even set up like a zoom link or something if you would be okay with that- I can give you my email if you wouldn’t mind getting in contact. I really think this is something I’m meant to do!
