- Join me as I return to Blackpool Pleasure Beach on a quiet October weekday to experience all of the different rides at the park! In this vlog I share a mix of on and off ride footage from throughout Pleasure Beach including POV's from all 4 dark rides, a lap round on the Pleasure Beach Express and much more. Along with that I get back on The Big One, ICON, Revolution and many more Pleasure Beach classics along with taking a look at the Halloween decorations throughout the park!

Since filming this video, Blackpool Pleasure Beach have confirmed that the Grand National will remain closed for the remainder of the 2021 season.

The strange eerie feeling of the River Caves is definitely one of the reasons I love it so much!

@@buster8015 Has the Gold Mine been closed! Can't believe it, an iconic ride. I loved the cafe bit too. That's a real shame. Wild Mouse gone too.
@@vordman Yes gold mine was changed to Wallace and gromit in 2013,same track system with modern ride theming. Really good enjoyable ride actually.
This is exactly how I want (need) Blackpool to be on my next visit. So many rides to enjoy.

Thorpe park can’t beat the record for the tallest coaster because they have a 206 feet height restriction due to the nearby airport, that’s why stealth isn’t the tallest
As mentioned the park could certainly go higher than Stealth if they had the relevant permission!
Love BPB. Visited for the first time in 25 years a month ago. Was blown away by Icon and rekindled my affection with The Big One!
Omg, I went here the other day! It was amazing. I think so far this is for sure my favourite park and Icon is an amazing ride! X

I've been to the Pleasure Beach many times over the years (first time 1975) last time about ten years ago. In all that time I have never been on The River Caves ride. I've no idea why because it looks awesome. And I love water rides. In fact my favourite ride at the park is Valhalla. Looks like you had a great time, Shawn.
I think on Valhalla’s re opening day you should do the all day riding challange like you did for nemesis

I love Blackpool, I have lots of childhood memories and I’m taking my own children next year. I’ve not rode on Icon or Sky force yet so looking forward to that

Great vlog Shawn. Always love Blackpool Pleasure Beach there is so much there to enjoy. I cannot wait for Valhalla to reopen. I first rode it in 2000 when it first opened. This is one of the best theme parks in the UK👍

You planned that well mate! Never seen it so quiet. Just back from Thorpe, all coasters done....back for round 2 tomorrow. Stealth front row.....OMG 🤪
We went on a monday in sept. Only queues were 5mins for ghost train and 10 mins on wallace due to a minor fault. Everything else either walk on or next train all day. Had over 30 rides!

First time I rode Icon...Went on Icon 5 times 3 times on front..omg its now my fave in UK. Weather was terrible last hour (was not a good idea to go on it on the front lol) but definitely got our moneys worth and got used to the e-ticket, made it easier being so quiet. Brilliant vid Shawn! (I said hello to you that morning and spotted me and partner in video bonus hehe)

I literally went yesterday and went on Icon for the first time and it was amazing but it hadn't been open for half the day and then they opened it at about 2pm and it was incredible. The airtime was magnificent!

Glad you mentioned about rides on off peak days. I can only get down to visit once a year usually on off peak days. Love Grand Prix but it hasn’t been open when I’ve been there for years!! Even if they just rotated some of the rides and opened them for 90minutes each or something

Ghost train has its on and off days but I’d put it in my top 5 rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Just watching you on Alice in Wonderland makes me think of the smell in there, love it

@@ThemeParkWorldwide the smell of the bread in Wallace and Gromit ride makes you feel like you’re in bakery, that’s my favourite scene in the ride

I've done BPB on an empty rainy weekday, and a packed late night riding Saturday, both are great experiences for different reasons. Even when heaving, queues are still well below those of peak days at other major parks, and riding the Big One at night is sublime. Big fan of the pleasure beach, wish I'd been more often previously.

I went here last Saturday and it was ace. I was waiting to get on the big one the last ride of the day and just before I get on it I get a nosebleed! We even got exclusive view of downstairs and they called the medics 😂
I'm gonna make myself get a nose bleed on purpose next time now to get the exclusive view 😅

We’ve been in Blackpool this week but not at BPP, we did Blackpool front and did the illuminations but it guts me I can’t ride big coasters anymore due to epilepsy, but saying that I can still attend for river caves and the ghost train ❤️
The river cave is great bc u don't get absolutely soaked and cold but u do get wet so its great and rlly relaxing and entertaining if your not keen on big rides !
This looks like an awesome park. So many classics! I love it. Wish I could go there someday, when covid is over. The other british parks are more horror focused, it seems? Thats not really my thing 🤣
It’s such a great park! We do have way too many horror based themes across our parks though!
Alton Towers: giant alien, drop into blackness, hypnosis machine, cult ritual, haunted crypt
Thorpe Park: SAW, zombies, volcanic eruption, alien invasion, horror ghost train
BPB: haha horses go brrr
(To be honest who needs a saw theme when they already have an actual torture device called Infusion)
Hoping to go on June next year :) hopefully Valhalla will be open as it's my favourite ride

Your trip was like mine to movie world in australia recently. Got to ride dc rivals 40 times, superman escape (intamin accelerator) 35 times and the other coasters a few times.

This is what the pleasure beach was like when I went in September! Dead and rainy but was a fab day will all the rides we got in , I have a question Shawn not sure if you would know but at the pleasure beach I had a poncho on as it was raining and was told to take it off when going on icon and the big one and was really confused as to why? When I’ve been to Alton towers they’ve never asked me to take it off before getting on any rides 🤔

It’s back open, however the haunted swing was closed the other day!
We were there on the same day. Also we saw our friends in the background of when you saw the werewolf 😂🐺

I agree that Valhalla was already perfect, however the only thing i would've changed is putting a lap bar on the boats because the amount of ejector airtime on them 2 drops is enough to have you nearly fall out!
I love Blackpool, pleasure beach looks so nice , I’ve been to Blackpool in July when I went to Southport and I had went to to south pier and it was very nice. What theme park In the uk , personality mine is pleasurewood hills in Gt Yarmouth
i went to BPB last wednesday and it was really busy. i thought it wouldbe quieter but it was full of school groups and lots of holiday makers.

I went last week, Icon is my favourite UK coaster, nobody can match the coaster, the interactions and near misses. Plus finally got my gilet!

I sat at the 2nd front part in the Big One and it was still really comfortable.
A great vlog from my favourite park in the world! It’s sad seeing the park quiet yet it’s perfect to get on loads of rides! I’d hate to see the height record for The Big One being broken unless it was by BPB themselves!

I absolutely agree Top Tier Trips, however it may Need to be a shuttle coaster of some kind, or some kind of uphill launch coaster.
I say that because of of the wind from the north see.

I wanted to go on steeplechase the last time I went to Blackpool but I never got the chance as it was hard to go on rides on my own when my little brother was there .
I've always wanted to go on icon myself but I'm terrified of those waistbar coasters that have inversions

Life is about feeling alive and it's easy to forget that Blackpool pleasure beach does exactly that if you visit in person. I forgot

went to the pleasure beach 3 days ago, infusion was shut down i don’t know why but it had a massive crane in the middle of the ride and all the water was drained out. It was quite sad to see because it’s one of my favourite rides. The big one was amazing for night riding could see all the illuminations! My favourite park to go to!

Not a patch on the Gold mine -that was a great experience.
Freak nights was pretty good Icon with a blindfold was great.
Loved Valhalla and hope the drops will be the same and the ice room. Just hoping they're preventing the boats being filled with water (soggy feet) and getting saturated, not good in cold Blackpool!

I'm glad i'm not the only one that can't go on revolution because of the steps/bridge. My legs get so wobbly towards the top i'm petrified of open toed stairs. It's a shame because i've been on it once and i loved it, i just can't get over the bloody steps..
Same 😂 it's scarier going up the stairs than the actual rollercoaster. Just definitely don't look down 😳
Went last week and it was so busy!! Didn't even get on everything, should have waited another week😂

It's been like that for decades, everyone says it! Most likely because it isn't licensed by Disney, so they're not allowed to play the music.
My brother can do the Big One no problem but really hates walking up the steps for Revolution. I was originally going to bully him on the Big One, but after seeing him barely cope with the Revolution queue I thought better of it!
