    i love how i dont understand the transition from a drawn position to a drawn position. but the posibilities are changing constantly, i love it! at the end it was still "a draw" but he just had one move left, and this makes a great player. what i can understand, only when sagar is telling us :D. Keep it up Sagar shah, you and your team are doing a great job,!!

      Magnus can easily win drawish positions and i have seen it live many times..i have never seen a player doing that live..Magnus can turn 0% winning chances said by the engine to 100%.

    15:46 bad blunder from world top player.
    I think 90 % of GM-s would play 1. Qa2+ e2 2. Qf7 + Ke1 3. Qh5 .
    There is no progress for black . Black king is blocking promotion square and if it steps away 3...Kd1, then pawn is still pinned.White king is pretty safe moving between Kh1, Kh2 and Kg1 if black is checking with queen . White can dance here 50 moves, still no progress for black because black king is so open for checks as well and pinning the passer from Qh5 is always so annoying. Too bad we did not have that endgame, it would be interesting to know how long Carlsen would try after 3.Qh5 until he realizes that there is no win here. My guess he would give up after few moves and agree to draw, to continue this check and pin dance 50 more moves looks ridicilous

      If you think magnus is gonna give up just when he realises the game is a draw .. You're quite wrong....if there is one person in the world who'd rather want a 50 move draw than an offered draw is Magnus carlsen who'd be all ready to strike even in a minor inaccuracy on 49th move

    So what is the difference between a fork and a double attack, and between an x-ray and a discovered attack?

    • @prakasavigraha6104
      @prakasavigraha6104 8 місяців тому +1

      I am the dumbest chess player, but i can give my best answer.
      Fork is when two (or more) pieces are attacked by one piece.
      Double attack is the same
      Xray means one piece is in position to attack with an own piece just needs to be moved. When that piece moves, then we have a Discovered attack. Like a rook is aimed at the opponent's queen but covered by a pawn. Then that pawn takes something, opening the file and attacks the queen. That is the Discovered attack.
      I hope that helps.

      2014 sinquefield cup where he smashed the tournament by 7-0 and average rating of player was 2800+ in that tournament , he has highest performance rating in history
      Or 2018 world championship where he drew all 12 game against carlsen
      Or any game vs carlsen is masterpiece
      I remember a game vs MVL where he played a move even "carlsen wasn't able to find the idea"
