It's just a fold 5 with a more squarey shape frame 🤷♀️ happy with my fold 5, I actually prefer more rounded edges because they don't dig into ur hand when holding it.

Missing was the S-pen slot as Samsung move to fold 7 next year for s-pen slot inside the phone.
That’s why you get a 24 ulta dummy! This phone meant to have the stylus separate deal with it

The fold 7 needs to widen the outter screen, keep this design. Focus on battery and speakers basically make it to where this phone can replace a tablet damn near so add the spen in the box or even in the phone. And finally. That camera needs new life.

@mrkring1526 2 mm wider isnt that much wider. It's for aspect ratio bro. They need to have proper ratio for someone like me. I dont use the inner display much unless I'm home. Or really need it. So 2 or 3 mm wider would be a good middle ground. It's still narrow but more usable.

Watching this on my Fold 3 and I can safely tell you all that I'm not missing out on much other than some AI features and a brighter display for outdoors which already is pretty good.
True. I purchased phone insurance because the flex cable on galaxy fold 3 always get damaged

@@NuttyRageGaming I absolutely understand your point. However, camera usage and requirements vary from person to person. You might agree that most premium phones have brilliant cameras but sure, this one isn't exactly a world beater but it does a great job for me personally.
@@borjie2727 Yeah, I've experienced very minor cracks on my inner screen so far which are hardly noticeable but definitely hurtful. I guess the foldable technology is still very delicate, even in 2024 and you really have to take a lot of care with these devices.

These kind of comments always crack me up. Did you expect a completely different phone? They made it slimmer, made it square, added more AI features, made the screen is much brighter, added the new chip...what were you thinking they would do?
@@rkymtnchi503 Actually there's quite a few things the could have done. I would want them to completely remove the crease in the middle, I also want them to remove the under-screen selfie cam on the main screen, we already have selfie cam on the folded screen, we don't need another bad quality selfie cam that compromise the main screen experience. I guess I will wait and see if they'd do that in Fold 7.

6:30 having used both a 2 and 4 extensively... it only gets better on a brand new phone. When I first used my fold4 I thought the crease was revolutionary, I barely saw / felt it until I used it for a couple of daays. Then it was exactly the same as on the 2.

@@Harminder_Saini not really you forget about it but he probably meant it in a way that the crease is still there and there haven't been huge advancements in hiding it which is okay.
Looks good... I like the square , sharp look on the 6 with a wider front, but I also notice my fold 5 (rounded edge) is more pleasant to hold for long-term hours in palm than my s23u (sharp edge). So it's a matter of preference; the 6 is the same as the 5 with a different edge design.

I have the S23 ultra and it's better than this foldable Z6. So the S24 ultra is just a slightly more refined S23 ultra.
The S23 ultra is so good when they came out with S24 ultra. I'm like what can I improve on it.
In fact, one of my favorite reviews flossy Carter said if you have a Samsung S23 Ultra should you upgrade to the U24 ultra and his response was no.
He said if you had an S22 ultra, yeah, upgrade to the S24 ultra. if you got a S23 ultra he said he don't see no need to upgrade.
Best all-around foldable, no doubt. Not enough over my Fold5 to make me upgrade, but 4 or earlier...oh yeah.

One of the biggest reasons I switched to the Fold: got tired of massive slabs.
Bro why would you upgrade after only a year and a half lol? I'm still on my note 10 plus and besides the cameras, which let's be honest we're not all photographers they're not as important as they make it out to be, I have not found the need to upgrade. All the it's successors, the note 20 ultra and and all the s ultras since the s22 have had the same design with only incremental changes to the exterior. Besides I'd loose the microsd card slot and would need to oay more out the door to get either 512 or 1tb of storage. So why upgrade when they're barely upgrading their phones and especially now with how much longer they support them with security updates. Coonsumerism at it's finest.
@@vali69 Chief, its a totally different form factor, it's not like I'm ordering an S24, or coming from a fold 5. I have a tablet and a surface that I'd love to stick in my pocket of my JNCO's. If the Note 10 does what you need it to, more power to you boss, but i do a lot more on my phone that use every bit of each incremental update.
So don't worry homie, I'll pick up the S25 when it comes out, just for the hell of it this time.

As a media consumer I would like to watch a video comparing how youtube and Netflix videos are viewed on the fold 6 vs S24 Ultra.
If u care about media consumption fold phones are so much better, main reason I got a fold 5 is coz I like having a bigger screen to watch videos while having ability to turn it back into a phone for a smaller form factor while roaming about

Almost perfect. I'd like to see future models be slightly wider when folded, just enough to fit an sPen inside along with completely removing the crease. I think with those changes, this would be perfect. I could care less about cameras.

Yes. They have to throw their old model put and start from scratch. Think about it, like a car and the clay model they make before the car goes into production.
You would think if you're paying near 2k for a phone it would come with something new. This is the same exact phone as the fold 4. Just unfolds flat and a new chip so it's faster. Waste of money if you're thinking to upgrade from a previous fold.

@@kaz3108 You forget that Samsung has some great trade in promotions.
They listen to actual users. Most Fold users actually want the narrow aspect. Too many people forget: the Fold is the only foldable designed to be used with an S pen. You have to be able to hold your $2000 phone FIRMLY in one hand, while you have the pen in the other. Even ladies can hold any Fold from edge to edge with one hand. The Chinese phones don't have to worry about that.
This looks classy, simple, and refined. If only they just took this design and cut it in half (for the Flip series), I'd buy. Unfortunately the Flip 6 is nothing like this. Selfie cam blocking the inner screen and tiny front screen with huge bezels, iphone style edges.
It is still large size. I bought the Honor Magic V2. It is still the best, very light and thin, like a regular phone

I like the flat design. The only thing I'm exciting a about its that there is no reflection when using the phone outdoors which is a huge improvement with my fold 5 i can't seen nothing when using the phone outside it's very reflective,looks more like a mirror

Besides the new AI feature about drawing assist, nothing about Fold 6 make me wants to upgrade, feels it such a small changed compared to my current Fold 5

This Fold 6 looks very sharp. I like the thinness and the square look of the phone. I just don't get why Chinese companies can make the crease almost disappear, but Samsung can't.
Oh, they can. In fact, Samsung supplies displays for several of those other companies. Something tells me it's for durability reasons.

I was thinking about getting this one for the bigger front screen but it's just not worth the price for an extra 5% width. Plus the inner screen is slightly worse for horizontal video viewing

To be honest, not just this but any, I could not get used to that crease down middle of screen. My thoughts, I totally get the Z Flip, makes a nice large phone so small. But this, it's size of a normal phone anyway, just weighs a heck of a lot more. No dust resistance either & finally, look at the price of these things, 😂

That's what I was wondering I have the fold 5 looking too see if its worth the upgrade by the looks of things not sure it is.
People are being so harsh. I am a fold 3 user here and even though im not upgrading i see alot of differences between fold 4, 5 and 6. Each one is quite different, and when you compare the yearly upgrades to iphone yearly upgrades, it makes the fold series look much better

I find it strange that Samsung still have not added the S pen slot into their Foldables. It doesn't make sense that the phone that most attracts the S pen doesn't have the S pen slot. To add to that, there are no nice, sleek, smart, and practical fold cases that give you both the pen holder and a kickstand. You always have to compromise, which sucks... I use my fold 5 butt naked, and I won't upgrade until the S pen slot is added
Foldables are cute, but honestly society isn't ready. Things have not changed as far as aspect ratio is concerned. I had the fold 5 and decided to return it and get the 24 ultra. There are so many things that you miss out on with a boxy folded device. If they would make it the same size/aspect ratio of the s24 plus at the very least and then make it unfold, that would be ideal. A true portable phone tablet hybrid.
And for god sake give it speakers like the tabs they have! 4 speakers on each corner!
The weather ambient lock is on good lock app so I don't see how this is new

Personally, the lightness of the fold6 after holding the fold5 makes it feel cheap. The pointy corners are super uncomfortable as well. It LOOKS amazing, though.
