With the Terraria example you gave, Crimson/Corruption spreads even pre-Hardmode, just extremely slowly and only through grass blocks, once you enter Hardmode, the spread of these biomes increase massively, and they can now practically spread through almost all natural blocks. Additionally, by defeating another boss, the spread of the Corruption/Crimson/Hallow is slowed by 50%.
That's incredibly kind, thank you so much! If you know anyone else who might enjoy the content too, the best way to help out is sharing it - but either way, I'm glad my video resonates with you!
Really liked your video! It just showed up on my recomendations. Keep up the good work and good luck with your game seems you have great ideas for it! Much love my friend!
If I understand blightwatcher correctly (cool concept btw) I think it would be cool to have your hearty animals that survive the blight, actually be slightly corrupted in some way. You face them early on but come across them again and they have different attack patterns/are enhanced in some way from the blight. They look slightly different and behaved differently. It could be a way to show how it’s affecting everything in its path. Idk just a thought I had
That sounds really cool! It would require a lot more art assets than we're currently planning for, but who knows! If the demo is somewhat successful and people are interested in the game, it might be worth implementing too
@@Blightwatcher Phoenix Point is an XCOM like. One of the main draws of the game is that mutant alien enemies evolve over time as more of them corrupt the world. In practice, that sounds cool, but in practice it became samey/repetitive over time.

Every video, I get more invested in your game. I can't WAIT to play it.
That's incrdibly nice of you! Hope to see you around for the next few, too
Keep your eyes peeled for the demo around the end of the year!
lol I didn’t realize this had like 100 views until I read the comments. How the hell are you not bigger?
That's what we all are wondering!
You're going places man, great vid.
Incredibly thankful for your kind words!
You deserve so much more love than you get. Top tier content. Ty for making this.

@@Blightwatcher looking forward to it I hope the launch goes well!
investing in the channel early
It's interesting what it becomes.
Phoenix Point does something similar with the corruption thing, but they messed it up big time.
I haven't heard of Phoenix Point, but it sounds like a great case study on what not to do. Why do you think they messed up so hard?
