It really doesn’t matter what in we out in there. If it prints just fine and there are no issues, that’s none of their business. I changed my ink and had no problem until it did an update . So how can I bypass that part where i can finish using it. They are still full.
This happened to me today. I am calling sawgrass tomorrow. I dont care about the warranty my printer was fine with the cheaper ink no problems until i was forced to do an update. If i cant use the ink i want. They can have the damn thing back

I read you comments, you said you were going back to SG ink? or Did the ink & chips come and work? I read that if you put other than SG ink in Sawgrass put an update in that puts a watermark on your image. Thanks
All I want to do is reset the inc levels can you tell me how to do that on this sawgrass SG 400 it's saying it's giving me Problems because the system thinks to ink Low And I use replacement cartridges all the time
You need to reset or replace the chip on the universal cartridge. How they work is once a preset amount of ink passes thru them they will say its out of ink, its like a 1 way valve.

Hi, I went ahead and purchased two sets of the cartridges from two vendors, but for some reason, my sg400 doesn’t seem to be printing the yellow and pink in the images. Is there a trick to bypass so I can get the printer to print all the colors?

Can i change brand ink in sg500. As I have had it a while and its some with easyjet subli ink. But i have not had 1 good print yet n i think this is the reason. As I'm doing it on phonecards and clocks
how many ml are the cartridges? If its more than 31ml its an SG1000 ink which won't fit in an SG500 printer. If its smaller it may be an SG800 ink cartridge that doesnt fit an SG500/SG1000
@@holladirecttv honestly the best workaround is to just print from the Photoshop or drawing editor and skip the print manager....seems to work decent enough for me....not as convenient as the manager for sure
I have tried the GC41 ink and it worked fine for about 62 dollars

You think you could just take the chips off the backs of the current sublijet inks you have and apply it to the refill ink cartridges?
Those chips are useless after the full ink cycle.

I’m not sure about the 500 at all. Might have to see if you can find a video specifically for it or log onto sawgrass’ website

Swap the chips. Use the original sawgrass ink chips if you still have those cartridges
