- I decided to go for simple & neat spreads for my 2019 bullet journal (although I couldn’t help but add some lettering flair to my new year’s resolutions). I’m so excited for 2019! By the way, I haven’t totally forgotten about Vlogmas. There will be a final recap of this past week full of vloggy stuff after Christmas. Until then, hope you enjoy this Plan With Me video!

I just found your channel today & as I saw you writing 'PAGE' & 'TOPIC', I said 'Wow' out loud because your handwriting is absolutely gorgeous! I write very small too. My handwriting is as 'tall' as the half of one of these grid-boxes. I guess I will start using my TomBows for lines with my ruler too because it looks really neat & my Microns smear sometimes. I guess I should use my Lamy Fountain Pen more often too but write a bit bigger because with my height of handwriting, it usually just flows together. So you just inspired me. :c Anyway, subscribed! :)
What ink do you use in your fountain pen? I'm surprised it doesn't feather or smudge when you go over the tombow area. Do you use a fine nib or a different size?

I have officially graduated from using the bullet journal system due to laziness and because I’m getting tired of doing the same stuff month after month. But I still like seeing what other people do and how they use their bullet journal. I’ve always preferred a more minimal, simple bullet journal! Yours is looking great. Practical and simple!

What is the nib size on your LAMY? I love the vid! I prefer minimalist stuff... Of course I can appreciate fancy designs but they just distract me in practice!

May I ask if the fountain pen ink works well on the Letchtturm? I was told there was a lot of bleedthrough and ghosting... Excellent video by the way! I wonder when will i ever get to your level of artistic-ness.
Hi! I think it depends on the ink + pen combo. I haven't experienced any bleedthrough with this Lamy + Ferris Wheel Press combo at all. Also I think thinner nibs are less prone to bleedthrough in general because of less ink deposited... pen tests are a must, I do that on the back page! good luck, and thank you so much :)
leuchtturm has a paper that is coated especially for fountain pens. I never even experience ghosting with mine.

You're right, it does! I prefer to use my 2 column format. :) Also, my cover page with the art made a mess of the Leuchtturm's index due to bleedthrough.
But the bullet journal your using has a built in index.... 🤔

Yes, you can. You can use whatever notebook you have at home right now to start.
Question: do you bring your bullet journal anywhere you go or just go with the day and write on it when you get home?
