I can already tell from the gameplay that the handling is really weird, f1 23 was such an improvement on 22
its epsecially weird on roller. people have said that the game was made on roller but then just allowed wheel support however if that was the case the handling would feel worse on a wheel than a roller.

@@windi1982have you seen a real F1 car take corners??? These things turn crazy fast... It's not arcade cause it actually simulates supreme aerodynamics... At least Lando Norris seems to think it's realistic... But I guess Timmy, Joey and Danny who play the game online know more about F1 cars, right?

Ill just wait till its free on ps plus later this year 🤷🏻♂️ something F1 needs instead of just playing as a classic driver but to drive the classic cars and due throwback seasons of course limited to some of the most iconic seasons. Why not take full advantage of having the F1 license if youre not going to use the classic cars that shaped F1
just because codemasters have the liscense to create the f1 game it doesnt just mean they have the liscense for classic cars and/or tracks n shit.

I feel like the game doesn’t look terrible? Steering looks way more twitchy and responsive which is way more realistic and a welcomed change. Then the new ERS options are awesome and good track updates. Not to mention all the new features in career mode with rivalries and driver moves etc. Feel like it’s a bit of a bandwagon thing to jump on and say it’s the same game because seems pretty different to me?
The steering being more responsive is good but the car turns in too easily, the ers change is nice but the wheel looks too twitchy
@@CJ-uh8bk I just remember watching max round Australia this year and last year just thinking wow that car turns in instantly. The visual of how the car looks when being thrown into a corner looks pretty spot on
@@TheGunit518 What on boards are you watching lad? Atm esports drivers are able to go flat out through corners that shouldn't be possible, I've no problem with the car having a good front end, but it looks way overdone

It looks very arcad-ey, even with the steering wheel some inputs make it look like its coming from a controller, and idk how real the car swaying in corners is but it looks way to pronounced, locking up seems more prevalent too, im happy with my F1 23 tbh, even with 50% off i dont think i would buy this game
Its actually more similar to real life. Difference is, the tyres would explode after 2 laps.

I am literally thinking about buying 23 cause this shit is impossible to even watch. If i should buy this shit for 70€ i would rather buy food
The UI is the ugliest I've ever seen, but everything looks nice apart from that.
I think EA should add an option for custom made UI or just add more presets maybe from older F1 titles.
Would be cool for sure to be able to make our own UI with different options on the displays!

It never was and never will be. The official F1 game, apart from the geoff crammond games, has always been aimed at the masses. Games like this have to be easy to understand and learn.
I have a really bad feeling about this, already regretted pre ordering it haha
What exactly do you dislike? The only real problem I have is that apparently the curbs don't really affect the car. But overall, the handling seems more realistic than in F1 23 to me, especially the weight shift. It really looks like the car is more rear-heavy with a pointy front, as it should be. In F1 23 you didn't really feel the weight of the car, it was sort of swimming through the corners.
@@Andre-pr4pq dont know if youve seen it, but you can turn in completely, not lose any grip, drift through corners and gain time
i m a beta player and i can tell you that the handling is fun after you practice, also setups play a big role this year
@@Eismagier you actually lose time when you do that tiktok strat on qatar, opmeer recreated it on stream and lost time there
@@Shikitera I played the beta also, it just feels like someone took the controller driving stlye and imported it on wheel.
Feel bad for you guys that have to sweat this game all year. Hopefully something gets done about this atrocious handling model

Same game as 23…..menus and everything. A few changes to tracks and handling, not worth the money to me.
I’ll get it if they mark down the price a lot or put it on game pass. I’m not preordering another one of these games till they change the game engine and overhaul customizatiob
You didn't put equal performance with maclarem. Also, this is definitely not your first time in the game. I can tell cuz I'm playing the beta that is happening right now. You get no tire locks at all pretty much. You played quite a lot before coming to this video.
The video is my first gameplay not first time playing, but truthfully I’ve not played much prior to filming, not that it matters however
@@lucasblakeley88 I see. It's just that the way you spoke made it look like you never touched the car before the video started. And there is no way you could have played that well due to the differences between 23 and 24. I was expecting seeing you suffering with all the lock ups, extremely sharp turning, etc. It would have been so much funnier. Oh well, keep the good job.

@@lucasblakeley88 My response to that would be that you are an eSports driver, and former champion, and you're telling us that Alex Gillon was able to extract more info from his limited running of the game than you? Make that make sense. Alex instantly found issues with the handling, from an extreme pointy front end, that grips immediately to the cars not being affected by higher kerbs. You are clearly very talented, and I refuse to believe you didn't pick up on the same issues Alex found.
