It is actually. Steel for the most part is mixed with an array of other metals in different quantities to get different characteristics out of them. Aircraft grade aluminum is the same way, although in most cases you wpnt be taking advantage of most of the properties in your flashlight or whatever
@@OriginalRanger84 I understand that, but the choice or words here is fishy. "Made from high-strength low-alloy steel". That's..not a thing.
I always get a kick out of " high grade airplane aluminum"
It is actually. Steel for the most part is mixed with an array of other metals in different quantities to get different characteristics out of them.
Aircraft grade aluminum is the same way, although in most cases you wpnt be taking advantage of most of the properties in your flashlight or whatever
@@OriginalRanger84 I understand that, but the choice or words here is fishy. High Carbon steel is technically a "low allow" steel, but they did not say high carbon...so it leaves me wondering what kind of steel is this? Another low alloy steel is A286 mild steel...basically the most common construction grade steel there is. It...is...soft.
@@Battlefresh true but with most advertisements it's all about buzz words and simple terminology. They could have used A36 or any other steel but chances are it's the same stuff used in most modern vehicles.
I think they watched one too many apple and dyson ads with these buzz words
i got a older fx4 lvl2.. hell i can;t wait to get one of these eventually.
A ranger body and make it wide to call it raptor baby ... 😂
Boy thats one cool looking truck!😃👍
at least they should of put twin turbo set up like the 2.7 v6 ecoboost
Or a upgraded closed block 2.3 that's in the RS
The 3.2 i5 diesel is better. If we could get the 2.2 turbo i4 diesel we'd still have better than the ecoboost. And there is an ecoboost model of it for baseline.
💥💥💥We need a Mustang Raptor💥💥💥
So it's Nov 2018... If I start saving now I might be able to afford this by the time it makes it's way to the US.
It’s still not fucking here.
Amazing Bro, You ar My Inpriration
Forget to mention the outstanding 18 second 1/4 mile
Well shit an offroad truck is not a drag car? Damn.
@@popwarhomie The F150 raptor can do the 1/4 mile in 14 seconds, the Ranger Raptor is just slow.
You are comparing a 2.0l 4 cyl to the 3.5l HO of course it’s slow.
@@popwarhomie It's slow compared to just about everything. I'd bet even the slowest version of the f150 is still considerably faster then this truck.
The raptor F150 is slow. They aren’t built to be fast.
im a chevy guy but id buy this in a heart beat
It's cool looking and unnecessary. That's certainly a Raptor
This truck will make the next Toyota Tacoma so much better.
I personally owned a 2012 ford raptor, the red stripe in the middle of the steering wheel completely came off, the silver plastic on the shifter chipped off, the fender on the right wheel fell off when I went over a little puddle, It did 10 miles per gallon all day, and the list goes on and on. Traded the truck in for a brand new Honda clarity, difference in quality is night and day, one have to be crazy to buy a Ford again after Honda. Ford people need to step their game up and stop making cheap cars with cheap parts, start using some quality material so the car actually lasts

So you are saying you bought a piece of shit Ford with bits falling off it . Why did you buy something with such shitty build quality ? Your mistake was you did you not bring a man with you when you bought it. Stick to buying kitchen appliances !
Thanks, I appreciate your honesty.
The Raptor isn't for pussies
Its not Fords problem you cant drive and smash into things
OMG!!! ~~~~I want that truck
