Totally agree with top 5 misses by Ford. The number 1 for me would be the tank capacity followed by the 33 inch tires. Those who offroad in Baja would know large tank capacity is a must or even in local trails. The stock fuel tank can only get you roughly 200 miles (offroad especially in 4H/L and your AC on due to desert heat is really bad on mileage) which is really short. Hope Ford addresses this very soon or consider getting Long Range fuel tank from Australia. Contemplating on the heim joints. Is it quite and feels tight?

Totally agree with top 5 misses by Ford. The number 1 for me would be the tank capacity followed by the 33 inch tires. Those who offroad in Baja would know large tank capacity is a must or even in local trails. The stock fuel tank can only get you roughly 200 miles (offroad especially in 4H/L and your AC on due to desert heat is really bad on mileage) which is really short. Hope Ford addresses this very soon or consider getting Long Range fuel tank from Australia. Contemplating on the heim joints. Is it quite and feels tight?
Yeah Baja in this would be a pain, only because you’d have to carry a couple of dump cans for fuel. I need that BIG tank from down under. Steering is tight, no real change there.
Guys the daily one of these how does it do just as like I only ask because I blew up my Subaru Forester I want to pickup truck to do you know pickup truck stuff but don't want something massive but I test drove a Ranger XLT and really liked it is it drives is that the same deal with the ranger Raptors or do those drive more like trucks
I won’t buy one because there’s no ac vents to rear passengers in ranger raptor
Score another point for the Colorado ZR2. Every single comment in here is complaining about something that the Chevy offers standard.
@@robertedwards3822 that's typically GM's MO. Pack as many cheap features in there as possible to distract buyers from the fact that the engine and drivetrain are way behind the competition.

I feel like 85 percent of the things you don't like about it are issues you are causing :D
I got my deposit on my white one!
Mine is being built in about a week
@@rjejames28 mine mid Oct. - 1st Nov.
White is a good color.
Its a $100,000 car to buy in Australia!
hate the hood!!!! why ford didnt do the raptor style hood blows my mind
Awesome review and truck but i know its only a four cylinder but the AT4X in my book is a better buy 👍
It’s a twin turbo V6 actually!
Did you hate paying $20k to get it?
I personally also think the ZR2 Colorado is a much better value vs the ranger raptor
Cant complain about any ford, until the warranty ends. Give 65k max. And you will find a lot more to hate about the ranger raptor.I think that I could love the machine but driving the wheels off it makes all the difference.
I get it. To be fair, I’m very familiar with most platforms and I’ve owned several of them new. None of them have been this good, and I’ve probably put as much wear on it with my 5k miles than most will ever by the time they hit 50k. My goal is to find its weaknesses and improve them.
@@Exodus4x4 my last Ford was a 2015 C-max. It taught (yep, Ford Hybrids teach you how they want to be driven) me to drive it like a granny going to Church on Sudays.
Even so the CVT was eating itself @50k, slipping continuously. I bought a $75 OBDII tuner off Ebay, it corrected the engine performance ever so slightly and the car lasted 240k for me and then my kid drove it to 270k, and she traded it in.
Don't get me wrong, the vehicles themselves are great. Some desk jocky figures they can't make money if they last forever.
@BillyBennecke It's cheap insurance to purchase an OEM extended warranty, as I have done with all of my vehicles. I'm still covered until 2027 on my 2020 Explorer ST, and I barely have 30,000 miles on it.
I have a 2002 Lightning and it has been stone reliable. The OP is full of it.
Best midsize truck on the market & nothing else is even close. The Chevy Colorado ZR2 would be my choice if price is a limiting factor. Jeep Gladiator or Nissan Frontier would be 3rd.
The new Tacoma is complete 💩.
TRUMP !!!!!!!!!
My 2017 Fusion Sport had heated/cooled seats. We live in NC. Cooled seats is 80% I bought a 2022 Raptor vs a Ranger Raptor that I REALLY wanted. The other 20% was the fuel capacity. Should be aT LEAST a 25 gallon tank for an extra 100 miles of range.
How did I end up in cry baby side of UA-cam
Americas still talk in gallons and use old metric system are they ever going to stop talking in the stoneage
No.
Buy something ells if you're just going to tear it up a nice vehicle! these trucks are not maid for nonsense!
