When i was 10 my grandpa gave us his WC to farm with. I put many hours on it doing field work with it. Thank you CTF. P.S i am 62 now.

Lots of nice old tractors out there. So much of the implementation is gone ,along with the knowledge of how to mount and use.

Y'all have obviously never witnessed a crank kickback. You both crank the tractors from the wrong side. You both grasp the crank with your thumb wrapped around the handle. It's no secret that you risk a broken thumb/wrist by doing it that way. I would think the old guy would at least know better.

Now I'm sad. My grandpa had a Farmall B, the other one was a Cub Which I own now and have for 3 years upcoming 4 this August 7th. Wish I would of have my Father keep his B.

Theres only one big problem with a fordson power major, no brakes

@@totallynotaspy3588 but I’m pretty Sure but I could be wrong but majority of the tractors of this era did not have power brakes but again I could be wrong about that I know most of the tractors nowadays probably come standard equipped with power brakes power steering and the Works

@@totallynotaspy3588 But yes I agree that probably is better to have power steeringI’ve never run too much equipment was power steering because most of my equipment is old school and mostly riding lawnmowers

@@Ellenslife851power majors are 50s tractors but everything ive seen with them is the brakes suck and on mine it has little to no brakes at all. Theres an oil seal that goes bad and leaks into the brakes. Amd if you live in the US you can barely get parts.

@@totallynotaspy3588 Yeah Not surprising especially for the times the technology was limited I think Tractor is back in that area were made better than the stuff nowadays but they still have their quirks
