Shades of Totality during The Great North American Solar Eclipse

I've been so fortunate to have experienced the 'once in a lifetime' experience of totality during a solar eclipse twice - once in 2017, and again in 2024. No words can describe the scene, and no photos truly capture the stunning sight we see during the few short moments of totality. I photographed a time lapse of totality with a 17 mm focal length on a Nikon D750. I was intrigued with seeing the moon's shadow moving in from the west, blocking most of the light on the horizon, and then the horizon lighting up as the shadow passed over us and moved off to the east. The experience is transformational... I hope you enjoy this series of photos that help document the event.
