    I like the fact that a lot of these videos are McDonald's in Japan. I've always wondered if they did anything different. They definitely have way more interesting burgers there than we have in the US.

    Yes they grow a lot of onions in Idaho. Onions, potatoes, sugar beets - lots of root crops.

    After watching half of us this vlog.. I drove to my local McDonalds and bought.. a Te.. well I bought a Filet-o-fish meal.. and an onion cheese burger..... damn you guys are better than corporate McDonalds advertisement. Loving the Vlogs btw.

    I work at McDonalds Japan... I liked the idaho burger too the brown sauce was tangy barbecue sauce... !! When you get a set you can ask for large fries and drink at no extra cost!!!

    I have never thought about onions when I think of Idaho. I only think of potatoes, and maybe corn. I love all of your videos, and my husband and I are wanting to move to Japan in a few years. I would love to pick your brains on living there and where to find a good job. I would also love to meet you guys in person when we get there. Keep up the work!

    Yay, McD's bringing Idaho to the masses, (albeit a 1/2 a world away)! I'll never find one like it here in ID, but am thinking of a do it yourself version with hashbrown purchase at 10:29 am and Quarter Pounder at 10:30 am. yum :)

    I had to google it as well. I live in the midwest :). I also looked about onions came from Asia, not sure exactly were. Also heads up for my first video blog. Thank you for my inspiration for the video blog, not just you but others that wanted me to make video blogs. Well I am going have to get threw the community college level course in order to get into a university after getting a four year degree in graphics design. What company are you guys working for? If you do not mind telling me.

    Yea, they have both. Wendy's is quite rare, but one time we got a lobster burger there. Search our channel for "lobster". Burger King once had a squid ink burger that was totally black, but I never got a chance to try it.

    Hmm that's certainly an interesting looking burger, I don't think we've ever had an onion type sauce at work, we have this stuff we marinate onions in before grilling them but never an onion sauce itself. These videos always interest me my coworkers would flip if they had to make Hash browns past breakfast. Great video hope your Myanmar adventure was good!

    Idaho produces the largest volume of onions in the US. Though, I'm from Indiana...wondering what an Indiana burger would be like. I suppose a giant tenderloin!

    I'm guessing Idaho is quasi-famous for their onions? I only guessed this because all of the onions at my grocery store here in Seattle are from Idaho.

    I'd eat that here in the states. But as for the onions, Oregon has a TON of onion farms along the Idaho border.

    What kind of jobs do you have and what do they pay? How long is the typical work visa?

    Onions are grown in Idaho and Washington State to the west.
    Although I don't think Idaho is as famous for them as Washington, Georgia or Texas though.

    Hah, that's a subject it would probably be a good idea to make a video about, on retrospect. The main idea is that it's hard to gauge exact costs without knowing the destinations you want to go to and what type of person you are. Some people are OK with a really ratty bed and a squatter toilet to save $5, some aren't. We are pretty "tough" travelers, but not as hardcore as some. If you choose budget destinations you can travel very cheap though, think a few hundred dollars a month after flights.

      I know I've had one but I don't remember it much. The problem with McDonald's is eating anything besides a cheeseburger means you have less room in your stomach for more cheeseburgers. -Eric

    Ya Idaho has tons of onions too! But true when U think of Idaho it's potatoes and White Supremacy! I use to live there have relatives there too and WA is right next to the Id! Red sauce is prob a Japanese version of a barbequish type sauce? Amazing that the prices for McDonald's R almost the same,but none of the variety! Why can't we have a Japan burger here? ;D Thumbs Up!

    It's a buns bun. I just had sushi in Idaho at Lake Coeur d Alene and can say that your burger is more Idaho than my Idaho sushi is Japanese if that makes any sense.

    90 YEN is around 73 cents in USD I keep calling up this up-dated Yen to USD converter every time I watch your videos. BTW Your ONION Question... Here is the FACT about it.... Valley of Idaho and Eastern Oregon produce more high-quality storage onions than any region in America, planting approximately 21,000 acres every year. So, in away yes they are kinda in the running of the Onion as well.
