Very educational !! I will looke at your older videos! Take care and stay safe my new friend !!
OLD LEATHER SMITH here, you always do a Great Job Aaron, I am very happy 4 you being so successful and supportive of the craft, GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
Best instructional videos I've ever seen and I've looked at a lot of them
I made one similar to this but bigger for my wife and sister with a double loop lace around the perimeter, both came out beautiful. Great project.
When I first started in the craft I thought leather had to be perfect. Now if I get a piece of leather with only a few Bob wire marks on it I’m thrilled!
Glad you are feeling better!
As always great work and video bubba
Very cool hat.
Thank you. It was made using a pattern and video from Tony Allen Bernier.
Hey guys, love your videos! One suggestion, could you use a pic of the finished product as the thumbnail? Would be great for finding the right video.
as always i enjoy your video's and have missed them. going back several months on the mystery boxes, will there be a video on the guitar strap / camera strap? just asking. thanks
Hi, I love your videos they are very helpful. What are the finished dimensions of the Courtney wallet?
So I’m just now getting around to making this for the first time. I notice you didn’t stitch the bottom of your card pockets, only the change pocket. Why is that?
sorry in time cutting rubber will dull your knives to work with rubber hinted cutting it yea dulls them pretty fast
Everything will dull tools. Some things faster than others. However, dull tools and punches can be sharpened. Tools which have been damaged due to using the wrong surface are much harder to repair.
Thanks for all your vids, Your oger snot is too thick, i loved that now i got a new slang for glue
I was watching a video where you had said that the tool impressions in 2-3 oz leather are crisp because of a backing you used. What was that backing? I can't find the video right now. Also, how do you use a swivel knife without going thru the leather when trying to swivel cut 2-3 oz, or should I use a different method? Thank you
Picture frame matting
And swivel lightly :)
@@makersleathersupply1220 lol... ok
Howdy
Could the gussets be made out of 1 to 2 oz leather?
Sorry one more thing what do you think about lining this project either with lambskin or pig suede I have both but this has been setting on my bench im just wondering if lining it would make it too thick?
Lining can always make a nice project, but yes, you do have to watch your thickness. The combined thickness of each piece should stay around 2-3oz for interior pieces and under 6 for the exterior piece.
@@makersleathersupply1220 I know this sounds stupid but this was stressing me out. I was looking at the interior of other projects and just looked unfinished to me. anyways Aaron. Thanks 👍 for responding. And input. Also give my thanks to Janie
@@bigjohn75 that's why I use things like the bridle with the finished back if I am going to not include a liner.
Hello! Thanks for your videos!
Can you please ship me that mug? Thanks!
-zone34 here!
I know you're busy.but if possible next time when you say finish things off camera. Could it be possible to get even a few still shots of the finished product after you've burnished and finished the edges etc.
Sure thing!
