Joe Alt can play, no question. Very patient and long. I would like for him to be nastier more often and finish people to the ground
he's just not that strong, which is compounded by occasionally sloppy footwork. maybe he can address that as he matures in a pro weight room. personally i don't think he's a top 10 overall prospect on the board. Top 15, sure.
Wilson hype is confusing to me. Is he an athletic freak.. sure, he might be the fastest player on this defense which is crazy! But everything he does seems so random, wasted movement, easily faked, overplays angles. To me this just ain't it but this is my first LB eval from this class - hope there is better tape ahead
wonder if its a coaching/scheme issue. Felt the same way about the NC state defense as a whole, tons of coverage busts in this game. There's gonna be NFL level coaches who think they can coach him into a star
I have been out on Wilson ever since watching this film... He is so weak linemen push him around with ease... His play strength is terrible I don't get the first round hype on him... I would maybe take a shot in the third round...
