    Forgiving and letting go is the best decision after a breakup

    Yes to dating yourself and spending quality time with yourself. The next person you meet is just a compliment. It also helps one to heal fully. Quickly jumping into relationships after a break up interrupts the healing process and you end up taking your wounded self into a new relationship.

    Awesome one...The saddest thing is all these phases I have been through and I sat in that space for sooooo long it was unnecessary. Breakups are really painful. I thank God I did not have anything tangible with the person. That part of the silent treatment, I know this too well. I would see even people banging plates and pans in the kitchen so mad at the maid for this one time they were a little late than usual. The thing we fail to understand is these are our personal non-negotiables, not the world so they should not have to tell us what to tolerate.

    Break ups are an opportunity the universe offers you so that you can meet somebody better tomorrow.
    Until this happens to you, you won't believe it but it's true. Granted they hurt, no doubt. They hurt at that moment because we do not see a better person that can surpass them at that time.

    • @graciousahumuza9232
      @graciousahumuza9232 2 роки тому

      The universe is everything around us. God created the universe, it doesnt mean He is not part of it. Surely you are not telling me God is not part of the universe?
      Anyway, what I meant is regardless of how the breakup happens, the reasons, circumstances and person involved give you a chance to be better as well, to learn and to grow.

      Such a great episode. But have been dying to say this. I am not a troll, just an observation. Sherifah the guest speaker had a very low microphone and she didn't get to be heard clearly for the advice and wisdom we know she has to share. Also ladies with a guest like shariah plz do give her the space to express her points because they r gold but were missed alot because she was spoken over and the problem of a low mike didn't help either. Thanks for the show. Love u guys.

  • @CHRISB-rs8io
    @CHRISB-rs8io Рік тому +2

    Personally, I know that disaster always happens when physiologically we always expect transfer of blames. We always feel that satisfaction always comes when the other person was the reason why it happened. It takes another level of maturity to decern that you had a role to play in that relationship that you are not in now. Remember it takes two to name it a relationship. So my point is, it all begins with you. Self reflection in most cases gets you to that level after a breakup, it makes you appreciate the journey and also gets you to the point where you have to make the decision of whether you get yourself back up or you remain drowned in that breakup bed.

    You know @Phiona and friends, I commend what you guys do here. Because in one way or the other it affects people in different ways. Like the back track topic of attaching your actions to something that has been happening to you or something in the past. That always has a way of coming in on the present. And not only in relationships but also in life as general. Many will silently come here for just that particular point to bring them back from where they were to the best position.
