I understand that herO is a pro player and etc. But his play was stupid here... Even noob like me can figure out that you can't break reaver + templar + cannons. I could understand if he tries 2-3 times and change his strategy, but herO gathered almost all minerals on his part of the map and still tried to break through the Maginot Line head-on. Nothing but frustration. Anyway thx for cast Paladin =)
Exactly this. All he needed to do was make 2-3 balls of lings, and attack all of the other bases were the Protoss army wasn't... Hero had a massive economy lead for most of the game.
great game. Snow's macro is like zergs - expanding all over the map, but keeping his bases undersaturated, so they last longer. Hero had no chance to break through, that's Snow's strategy. He keeps defending knowing that he would win by cost-effectiveness of his army. Thanks Falcon
Man, what a game for the ages. You need to have 3 brains each to play like this. Snow preparing for a long siege against the Zerg is my top 3 pleasures derived from Starcraft. I was shaking my head half of the time thinking "wow".
I am sorry Master Snow for not getting a Protoss victory on the last Falcon Unrest Stream. I will try my best and play more than 1 game per week to build my micro and macro skills and wreck all those terrans and zerg. Adun Toridas !
The Starcraft wiki agrees with me! Dark Swarm acts like smoke, making it hard to see what's going on inside the cloud, reducing accuracy. It's not that tiny bugs are tanking the shots!

in regards to your gettysburg question Falcon, Gettysburg had about 50 thousand casualties, for context the TOTAL allied losses for D-Day totalled about 4500 only about 2500 americans died on D-Day itself, if you count the entire Normandy campaign its 29,000 american deaths. So Gettysburg is almost twice the amount of Normandy casualties and about 10 times the amount of american casualties on the day of the invasion itself. These figures were typical when you consider BOTH sides on the civil war are americans.

Fully upgraded archons...backed by reavers and HT storming...there's no way to break this as zerg without a desperate guardian swap.

the tech toss has is insane. range melee(reaver) storm hits thru anything and the units are really strong. really hard to break that.
Psi storm by itself is OP before you even add in the rest.
So many wasted attacks on a single extremely fortified position... Hero could have killed 3-4 other bases instead.
Guardians maybe? I dun'know.
