Here are some of the Easiest and Cheapest aftermarket upgrades you can make to the DA V3 Pro and Viper V2 Pro! - ua-cam.com/video/8HAMKhfO24Q/v-deo.html
had both and decided for the deathadder v3 because it is so comfortable using this mouse, can relax claw it or palm it for browsing, literally my endgame
@@cemesis24 I actually have the deathadder v2 and I aim accurately but can't control recoil because the shape is not Correspondence So when I move the mouse down to get the recoil, it doesn't come straight down and it deviates a little to the right.
Best review I've seen on these mice for sure! Can confirm the DAV3 is cozy for a daily driver, in fact it is probably the reason I'll keep it. I bought a Viper Mini (wired) to try also. Might just keep and use both.
I can’t decide between the two so I bought both. I find myself using both equally with the Viper better for FPS shooters and DA for everything else. I’m still torn between the two of them.
I have a dav3pro with hyperpolling (can’t see no difference, but maybe is just me) and I’m absolutely amazed. I still use a basilisk ultimate (pre v3 and Still with “proprietary” usb a to micro-usb, which in my opinion sucks a bit as give you no other choice) for everyday life use, and my previous dedicated gaming mouse was the mamba wireless, of which I still like a lot. Also purchased the smaller but heavier cobra pro, as I see it as having much more potential than the one it’s being credited. I would drop the rgb for less weight, but this seems like a razers compromise to make everyone happy (guess they failed), with legacy RAZER rgb but a cut almost equal to the v2 mini. It’s 77 grams, less four (72 or 73 grams are for me a pretty decent weight, just Google mice pros use and you may be surprised with the weight issue) if you’re not playing with the bottom metallic round plate for charging, not needed while you’re playing - really, I’ve seen the mouse, I felted, reason why I decided to purchase one that will arrive in 3 or 4 days. I liked the video a lot (congrats for your great job), mainly how you addressed both mice as equal but defenitely for different people, depending on their grip, hand size and other more subjective preferences, and not many follow similar attitude. Will be sure to follow your channel in the future - new sub. Cheers!
i was at work and dropped my v2 pro on a hard ass amazon warehouse floor even though it feels lite its definitely solid went home pluged it in and no problems , i than bought a case for it the second drop might be the last drop lol
I'm still using a wired deathadder chroma couldn't tell you how old it is - I'd say 5 years ish. Old enough that I have to use the old razer synapse app for it. Still going strong though, if it were to die today I'd go pick up another DA. For me, I wouldn't want to go any smaller on the arch than what my deathadder has - like most people are saying it kind of bridges the gap between most claw style and most palm style mice. I have medium size hands.
This is a good video. The only annoying thing (for me) is that when both mice are on the screen there are no text shown on the side to tell which mouse is which. I hope Caleb would consider this suggestion.
Viper Mini because that's the only one I can afford lmao. In my country you can buy one brand new for only 15$ + free shipping. Nothing's beating this mouse's price to performance. Would love to try out the Deathadder v3 pro tho. Might buy one when it drops to 100$
@@pikameme3322 Nice! Can't complain about that price haha. Might be worth the upgrade in the future but if it works for you right now no reason in changing it.
I want some help . I am heavily using claw grip and it is also pretty agressive claw as well . Which mice of the two do you reccomend and is anything else like a Logitech mouse better suited for me ?
for claw a lot of people recommend Deathadder because the ergonomic of the mouse makes it easier for claw grip. This only becomes a disavantage if you have small hands. Viper is more flat. so tiny hand can still use claw grip. but it is more for finger tip style.
I bought both the mouses, refunded the viper v2, I must say, the viper has a much better scrollwheel at my opinion, being "firmer" doesn't activate by mistake, i kept the DAV3 (dave??) And i keep accidentally scrolling between weapons in my loadouts, get's annoying and sometime troublesome
I like Dave, that's a good name for it lol. Good to know, I don't use my scroll wheel much in games with most things I play allowing me to put everything on a hot key, but I can see how that could be annoying. The Viper V2 Pro definitely has a firmer scroll wheel though so I see why you would like that more.
my v2 pro, when i try to switch weapons in the middle of a apex gun fight, sometimes i press the wheel instead of flicking weapons and my man will punch smh had to change the binds
@@deanhollandjr1987 i yesterday bought back the viper v2, and i never had a issue yet with the scroll wheel, you must be in a state of panic and you apply a lot of pressure on the wheel, owning a v2 myself i firmly believe and know that the scroll wheel on the viper needs a good amount of pressure to activate
@@smalzio. I had the issue with DAV3 scroll wheel where I keep touching it no matter what. My fingers can’t spread that much I guess. My scroll wheel was jump
I can't speak to it myself as I don't have the Adapter for 4k Polling rate, but from what I've seen and heard it seems to be about 24hr of battery life for both the Viper V2 Pro and DA V3 Pro when using 4k polling rate.
Actually, I think they both run the same amount of time on full single charge regardless the stated marketing numbers. As they both have exact same internals basically (apart from mouse wheel encoder) thus they should draw same amount of current.
I’ve been ordering and trying out a bunch of mice recently with the intent of keeping the one I like most and sending the rest back. I tried the Pulsar X2 and X2 mini, and the G303 Shroud edition, and sent them back. Currently I have the Viper V2 and DA V3 in testing and I’m not sure which one to keep. The viper was super uncomfortable for me at first since I’m used to a palm grip and my previous mouse which was a cooler master MM710 had a huge back hump. But by the time I got the DA V3 I had adjusted and I kinda like it, but it’s not perfect. The DA V3 has been a similar deal. It’s my first ergo mouse and it was kinda uncomfortable at first, but I’m slowly adjusting. Considering they’re basically identical mice except for the shape and some other minor differences, if I get used to the DA I’ll keep it. Which would sting my wallet a bit because I got the Viper for $150 Canadian on sale, but the Deathaddee V3 was $190. I might also try the G Pro X Superlight. I’ve only ever held the original G pro wireless and even then it was at a store. It felt comfortable in my hand immediately but the fact that the GPX is nearly 2 years old and will likely get a refresh sometime next year has me feeling like I shouldn’t buy it. Especially since it’s $200 on Amazon right now. Plus Micro USB is a dealbreaker.
Thanks for the run down on some different options! I think others will also find this very helpful. Yeah, you'd think its about time for an actual update to the GPRO Superlight instead of a new color. Hopefully soon. If you do get the chance to try though I'd recommend it, I find myself going back to it often as one of my favorites for gaming on.
Nice video, the right click of my DA V3 Pro feels a bit heavier and has a more low pitched sound than the left click, do you have that aswell? Nothing deal breaker though I love the mouse! I also have a Viper V2 pro and overall click quality feel better than on DA V3 Pro.
i have the basilisk X right now and sincerely dont know which to pick i find the basilisk perfect in my hand but the mouse is just not it and i think of getting the viper v2 pro
Yes if u want a Zowie EC1 - EC2 shape-like mouse, otherwise, no. DA v2 or previous Deathadders had unique design and many can't play with other shapes.
I'm not entirely sure as I don't have one to test on but from what I'm looking up it does seem as if people are using their I Pad's with USB paired mice, but maybe someone else can help you more with this question.
Christ, who cares about click timbre in a mouse? Unless it sounds like an air horn I don't give a shit. How does its accuracy compare to other mice? What is its weight? Is it solid feeling or not (binary yes/no answer)? What is the battery life if it's wireless? What type of USB connection does it have? Done. The rest is how it feels in each person's hand so there's no review that can convey that. Buying process should be to physically go to a store and hold all of the mice you're considering in your hand on a flat surface. Find which are acceptable, then compare the other specs. Buy one that feels good and has the features you want. I genuinely do not understand these "vibe" review videos covering opinions on "feel" and button noise subjective crap. Don't ever buy a mouse over its click noise unless you are some sort of mouse collector who has 40 mice on your shelf and it isn't intended for your actual use. That's like buying a mattress based on the color of the stitching.
