I just received my orange/black Swordfish today 07/21/2018 and as usual you were right, when I opened the box I smiled from ear to ear what a beautiful knife. The G10 scales are perfect along with the centering and the action buttery smooth not to mention the blade was literally razor sharp it is absolutely in the top 10 of my modest 200 plus pieces in my collection. LTK- Great looking budget knife. The Swordfish and Scimitar are my favorites. Great competition for Ruike and Real Steel.

I am verry impressed by all that work they put into finishing their knives. While CRKT, Benchmade, Spyderco, Real Steel, Ruike and all the others leave the edges of the liners sharper than their blades, Bestech leaves nothing to do for the new owner. Thanks for the review. My Swordfish swimms right now across the Indian Ocean on its way to me.

Great looking & functioning knives for the money.
Haven't seen this one, but they've really been impressing me. The only one I was sort of cool on was the one with the medallion cutout. I'd like to know who they OEM'd for in the past. Nice to have some more competition in this price range. Orange is awesome, great looking knife. White mountain was the only place to get Ruike for the longest time. And Kershaw is still asleep at the wheel. Thanks for showing!
Actually I was doing some shopping last night and remembered seeing one on your giveaway video. Blade hq does have the g10 models now for 52.00 dollars. Scimitar is by far my favorite. Hell who am I kidding I want them all.

Ordered the swordfish yesterday, black/beige g10, my first Bestech. Had heard of them but never looked into them.
Very impressed with the swordfish. Went ahead and ordered a Scimitar. I'm adding Bestech to Real Steel and Ruike as another high quality/value knife maker that I'll be purchasing more from. For me, these brands are putting Kershaw and CRKT on the back burner. They're going to need to start upgrading their steel from their standard 8cr13mov to maintain market share compared to these well made and excellent value Chinese brands. Just wondering how prices will be affected if Trump enacts the tariff on steel that he seems hell bent on doing.
The G10 line from them seems very interesting, i wouldnt mind owning the Kendo

Had to buy one. Kinda rare that a budget knife has so many 5 star reviews. By the way, have you checked out the Twosun intagral or the tenon and mortise model. Surprised you're not curious about them.
rustyvavles I’ve seen both of those TwoSun knives online but just never pulled the trigger. They’re on my wishlist.
Ordered 2 of these and the lock up is not great. No blade play but there is like no pressure to release the lock bar. Anyone experience similiar?

How stainless is D2 steel?
Barry Hemmy technically its a tool steel so not completely stainless, but its very close to being considered stainless. Ive never had a problem with any of mine rusting, just keep them dry, wipe them down after they get wet and you're good... If you live in a super humid environment maybe you'll want to oil it every once in awhile. D2 is a good steel though especially for the price!
Not as Good as Aus8 but still good enough for your lifetime unless you leave it outside year round lol
