well was taught by cus. and had order in his life. later he got into chaos and lost track of the teachings. this happens because his bad childhood caught up to him. childhood has a great impact on people in general. you can't just rid yourself of your forming early years.

You can see here how innocent Mike was, it pisses me off that not one person looked after him at that time, he needed someone like Gus to guide him, instead he felt right into the vampires lap. Wow, Mike was confident and composed, he was so different, i think Cus dying and being around shady characters like Don King etc really messed him up and dropped his confidence.
This interview was after cus died.
Cus had already been dead for a year when this interview happened.

@@socratese5 Yes you’re 100% correct, Mike didn’t have that confidence or ferociousness he had when he was training under cus and Kevin Rooney, imagine what he would be like if cus had lived a few more years! He would be more disciplined, confident and his mentality would be a lot better if he was loosing rounds. Cus was the only person that truly cared about Mike, imagine how he felt after he died...
It was Robin Givens his x wife who really recked his life and confidence teamed up with her mother. She only wanted to make a name for herself off his by marrying him and then needed a way/excuse to justify to the public to get out. That was ridiculing him and smearing his name. She is how he lost his team because Tyson continued to do great even after Cus passed away for a few years.

Go watch his numerous documentaries movie and specially his autobiography his book tells u everything about him, basically he was managed by the wrong people and Marry a gold digger who accused him of domestic abuse everyone took advantage of Mike, so he started to party taking drugs and not take training seriously, but get his autobiography highly recommend 😉
