Sir Mirza Ismail never served under Tippu Sultan. He became Diwan of Mysore much later. He served under Krishnaraj Wodiyar lV and Jayachamraja Wodiyar.

Mirza Ismail was a Dewan under the Wodeyars of Mysore.

You are right , Mirza Ismail was Dewan during wadiyars of Mysore , not in Tipusultan time and by the way Mirza Ismail Dewan had made many beautiful roads and markets under the wadiyars.
