Great tip for ends. I have been crocheting for years...just learned something new.
I’ve been doing this for 50+ years I’ve never had anything unravel. I started crocheting at 8 I’m now 62. I figured this trick out because I was lazy and thought why not just crochet over it instead of tucking it in later. 50 years later it still works.
I am lazy too 😂, I did the same 😅
I have been crocheting 60+yrs this is a game changer for me thank you 😊
This has literally changed my life
Brilliant! You just made making granny squares so much more enjoyable!! I love them, but sewing in all of those tails ... thank you so much!!
BRILLIANT! this is the clearest demonstration of how to join colours. So simple and efficient! THANK YOU!!!!!
A very big thank You from sweden! You have remove the only boring part of making granny squares! Im in heaven!
Thank you! I just hated making granny square blankets because of all the tails.
I gave it a go and I've made THREE blankets and I am working on a fourth. 😊
Brilliant instruction great way to loose your tails thank you 😊
WoW! Merci beaucoup! Tu as de bonnes méthodes qui me sauvera beaucoup de temps! On ne finit jamais d’apprendre! L’application que tu suggères est vraiment utile! Tu as gagné une nouvelle abonnée! 😃
February 17, 2024, Maryland, USA: I just discovered your channel and am excited about the app! I downloaded and had fun choosing the palettes. This is so helpful for a beginner like myself. I love that with a grandson teenager, I can select a palette that favors him. For my two granddaughters, I do not have a problem. But even now, for both of them, this is a go-to. Thank you, and enjoy how they make the granny squares and do not have the tails to later deal with, but the best is no magic ring!
Thanks. With your video and the crochet app, I made a beautiful afghan very quickly. I so enjoyed the process and results. Thanks again.
Thank you so much. This will make me do a second granny square sweater after all. And you have lovely young smooth hands.
Thank you so much for sharing. I lost my mom who was an avid crocheter 6 months ago. Since her passing, I’ve rediscovered my love of crochet and it somehow brings us together. This was the exact method she used to crochet her grannies. I have 40 yr old, well-loved granny square blankets that she made and haven’t had one issue with stitching coming undone using this method. This is perfect.
I'm so sorry for your loss. You will see her one day very soon. She's expecting you.❤ God Bless 🙏🙏
I love your tips for no sewing in the ends! And I will definitely check out your app!
I often crochet over my ends for the same reason! I love ur knot the yarn in the corner & the crochet over it, fab idea that I'm gonna steal 😉❤️
Brilliant, thank you so much. What a great app, thanks for the tips for that too ❤
Thanks for the new technique. It's wonderful.
Thank you so much Anita, it's make chrochet-life so much easy! After 40 years I started chrocet again and with your help it is so much fun! XxX Hetti from the Netherlands
Hetti, my grandma was Dutch and when I was a little girl I would marvel at her crochet skills, I'm 53 now and taught myself to crochet 7 years ago in grandma's memory
I only watched to find a way to avoid weaving the tails in but ended up downloading the Crochet Studio app and I absolutely love it. I have just generated and printed the pattern and can’t wait to get started. Many thanks 😊
I have just watched Davena from Little Work room crafts, who recommends your channel.
And having watch this video I can see why.
You have another subscriber now.
Well, well, well who knew this technique? Going to try this! Thanks.
I prefer your granny squares because they are nice and tight and not holey. I have never thought about turning over after each round. It looks great. Thanks for a great tutorial and explaining clearly. Will give it a try.
This is amazing! I've been crocheting over 40 years and I've never seen this technique! Thank you for this tutorial!

Absolutely brilliant video, thank you so much 😊
This is brilliant!! Thank you!!!
Clever , I will try it thanks 😊
I love the Crochet Studio app except for one thing-the advertisements! They don’t have a way to stop them or even to cancel out once they are finished. I try clicking on multiple areas of the screen until an X appears, and sometimes I even have to close the app. I suppose you need to pay for the ads to go away. Perhaps you might warn people that the app is not really “free.” But thank you for telling us about it. It is very unique.
Love this! I'm inspired to take on a very colorful granny blanket with this technique. I would LOVE to know if there's any way to flip the video to a left handed version? Thanks for sharing your beautiful work!
Thank you!!!! Love this!!!👏
Love it!❤
This is brilliant! Thank you ❤
Wow amazing 🤩
Nice idea.😊🤗
Hello 😊in your video of the “perfect granny square” you show one pretty cool method that really makes a perfect granny. Now, this method is completely different and I’m a little confused as to which one to use. Please help !
Thank you so much.!
Thank you! ❤
Thank you!!
I ❤ this but how do you work this method along with the join as you go?
Wow, i can finally overcome my fear of granny squares.
❤ Thank you for this very useful technique . Just wondering why you said tripple instead of double crochet 😊
It’s a UK treble, US double. Same stitch, different name.
Can you tell me hiw you added a palette?
Can I add my barn that I have here? Or does it only works with jarnbrands what are more expensive? 😳
When I ask the app to generate a pdf, it tells me to go back and make sure every square has yarn in it. I’m trying to make a 5 square by 5 square, 5 rounds per square. It generates a 5x5 image onto a larger grid, and I can’t figure out how to do what it wants. Can you help?
Is it possible to do this on a mitered square, given that after the initial square, you start at the sides, not in a corner?
Will this work with any style granny square ?
What yarn do you use
❤❤❤
