    I appreciated the fieldagent. Technology should always be at the service of man and agriculture for the good of humanity. the drone technology is fantastic.

    +Vivatvong Vichit-Vadakan The camera used on the Ag Scout Series platforms (Inspire, Matrice) is our own NDVI X3 Camera Unit which has been upgraded to support NIR bands and filter others to produce the final NDVI image. Learn more here:

    What makes DroneDeploy your go to versus something like Autodesk’s Recap?
    I would have thought that anything from Autodesk would be the automatic winner.

    I noticed that you use a Inspire 1 like camera to take the NIR images. What modifications do you do on the inspire 1 camera to be able to take NIR images?

      It's a modified Zenmuse X3 camera. Data will not be as accurate as a manufactured-for-NDVI camera, such as the RedEdge series, but it does return usable data. The camera they're using in the video is something like this: www.dronenerds.com/products/cameras-sensors/multispectral/ndvi-cameras/ndvi-camera-units/ndvi-x3-camera-unit-for-inspire-1-matrice-100-ndvix3-ndvi.html The cost is the difference, and, as long as you and your client know that you get what you pay for, it should be fine.

    i like that you "attempted" to keep the camera moving in your shots of the host..... kudos

    I see that the overlayed mission is offset from the base map. The road is too fare up. How do you correct this?

    • @sibujacob977
      @sibujacob977 4 роки тому

      You an correct this only if you go fr a RTK mobile base station and have cm level accuracy. I think the purpose of this mission was to do a NDVI analysis and not too much into the accuracy of the geo location

    great video.
    can you tell me if this platform is fully working with dronedeploy app to perform an autonomous mission? i heard that the matrice is not compatible with dronedeploy app. is there any other app that make it possible?

    The first question to ask here is whether the drone has a global shutter or rolling shutter camera !

    Great tutorial thanks!! Some questions: do you need a data plan in the tablet when you are on the field to see the map or you can cache it before? How do you upload the flight log from the tablet to the dronedeploy site? Thanks again...

    • @AerialMediaPros
      @AerialMediaPros  9 років тому

      +Pablo Diaz Once the imagery is uploaded to DroneDeploy and the map is processed, you can access the map from any device that is able to connect to the internet simply by logging in at DroneDeploy.com. So if you have a tablet, most likely you will need a data plan to view the map in the field.
      The flight log is automatically stored to your DroneDeploy account (DroneDeploy site) as soon as the aircraft lands, so there is no need to upload the data.

    your the second person today ive seen who clearly doesnt RTFM... ie doesnt read the manual. Thats not how you calibrate the compass. You are supposed to be AWAY from the transmitter and away from metal objects. You want to rename that from being an automatic landing to being an automatic crash... as that was NOT smooth.

    • @dingo7055
      @dingo7055 6 років тому +3

      Furthermore, the manual is wrong. Yep, you're not supposed to stand on the one spot and turn. You're supposed to hold the drone OVER the one spot and turn AROUND IT. Think about it. You're calibrating it to a fixed point, not a fixed "circle". DJI majorly fucked up on this one with their training video and I see guys doing it this way everywhere because that's what DJI told them.
