My sister is 10 years older than me and she loved this song. when I was like maybe 6 and so on (and now) I loved it too. I just remembered It last night and I wanted my mom to play it for me so I can go to sleep listening to it. Now I’m obsessed, with this song and others, and I just don’t understand why people are fighting in the comments. We all like this song, duh! There is no need to fight over a song. My friend died recently, she committed suicide. This song has so much meaning, and I wish she would've understood that she was the most beautiful thing when it came to darkness. She would literally "glow" she was so beautiful, and it made me upset that she didn't see it. May Anne-Marie rest in peace.

This just gives me the most amazing feeling of tranquility...like I'm floating in the night sky, in the bubble of the white moon.
Am I the only one who listens to music and then they just imagine an AMV/PMV, no matter what the song? I imagine a wolf walking through a meadow of memories, seeing them swirling around their paws and they remember them all and start to cry, knowing they'll never get those moments back.
Reading this comment made me think of the wolf seeing memories of themselves with their birth pack. The mother watching them passionately while they play with their littermates. The father asleep peacefully next to the mother. The littermates playfully pouncing the wolf pup and chasing them around the field. Then the memories fade away back into a dark and empty meadow with the wolf, now grown up and alone, still standing under the moonlight

I used to listen to this song when I was suicidal. It was my anthem. 5 years later today, I listen to it. I was nervous it would make me depressed. But it seems to make me more proud of my self than anything. I see some people who are the same as my old self in the comments. Keep living. This will pass. After two attempts I’m so happy I can listen to this song and remember what I’ve been through. Keep pushing. I promise this to shall pass.

I love this song!!! It's so down earth and calming even with the sad aura. I want to sing this on a night with a full moon in a forest dancing ballet. I don't know why but It gives off the aura for that. I guess it truly includes the moon.

They are singing about the moon, or are comparing a person to the moon. 'Skewed by lakes and seas' may mean that the seas and lakes are people who are bullying or hurting the moon/person in some way. Maybe?
