There's something odd, seeing the Lich Queen in the flesh. All other times we saw her, she was a dominating tower of authority in her broadcasts. An almost god, intangible, unreachable. Yet seeing her dwarfed by her own throne, the same height and frame as any other githyanki you would come across, creates an odd feeling. Never meet your heroes I suppose.
I don't think it is, I think its just the dead body making sounds and the human brain inserting the word run even though its not actually there. Wouldn't really make sense either since that body's soul has been consumed meaning there's nothing intelligent left there.
Vlaakith eats Lae'zel's soul to sustain her immortality and she (Lae'zel) becomes like the undead gith in the room. This is what the 'ascension' she mentioned entails.
Voss was telling the truth when he said ascension was bullshit. Ascension in reality is getting your power and life drained out of you to further Vlaakith's goal of godhood.
Not really. It's explained in-game what happens to "Ascended" Githyanki. Vlaakith is the Lich Queen...she devours the souls of the strongest Githyanki in her bid for Godhood.
not at all lol. youre just stupid and dont pay attention. It is said in game the ascended have their souls consumed by vlaakith to sustain her immortality and ascend to godhood. the gith in this scene are clearly undead/soulless. the same happens to lae'zel

super faint
Sounded more like a gasp of sorts to me, but if it is, it's really faint and a super cool detail.
What do you have to do to get this ending?
Follow Vlaakith orders... kill the Prince...
i was full expecting something more like
Lae'zel gets eaten out by Vlaakith
Oh she gets eaten, all right. Just not in the way you're describing(?)
Pause
What happens to her?

She’s dead

@@quantras2673 Yup. Its either before or after Rosymorn Monastery when he triggers the cutscene at your camp.
This one must die in the dlc

Canonically Vlaakith eats the souls of any Githyanki who become too strong so they can't become a threat to her.
See, kids, this is what happens when all you do is press space bar on dialogue
