    Thank you for a most athletic review!😋 Keep up the good work amigo!
    I'm an old school Ranger from late '68 to '73. When in Vietnam, I was wearing the cotton Tigerstripe jungle fatigues, and thought they were great. The pants you have there are like a "walking rucksack"! Wow, sums it up. Unbelievable how things change. And by the way, Rangers Lead the Way!

      Hi there buddy. I have to keep up this Athletic Dad-bod some how 😆
      Oh man, I can imagine how hit it must have been for you. These pants definitely allow to you carry quite a bit in them... with the support of a sturdy belt. I hope it's OK for me to say this, however, heck yes my friend! Rangers lead the way! 🤘

    I’ve got a pair of these trousers. Absolutely outstanding kit like everything that Arktis makes. Just wish they’d bring back the comb rust cammo…

      100% agree. Amazing pants. I had to check their site to find the Comb Rust and that's really nice. I'm more of a fan of the Comb Arid. Thanks for watching Cen 🤜🤛

    Thank you for the review!
    Got myself a pair of these in MEP Sand (basically MTP) late August in their summer sale (-30% off discount, which was a pretty good deal).
    Unfortunately have not had the chance as of yet, but really looking forward to try these in-game.
    FYKI: the loops on the sides of the ankle pockets are, as far as I know at least, primarily for chemlights (I think French SF usually use those during trainings)

      Thanks for the heads up on the loops. That makes perfect sense 😂 now get out there and play some games 😉👌

    is there many side-to-side movement of the knees? Do they stay relatively in place?

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  Рік тому

      They stay in place really well. The velcro behind the knee really helps to keep them in place. Check out Garand Thumb. He's been waring these in his content recently. I watched my content and had to try them out 🤘

    My main problem with those Velcro waist closings is that if the bottom seam of a T-Shirt is getting into the male side of the Velcro the seam on the shirt will get damaged. Thats the main reason why I only own one Helikon-Tex pant.

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  Рік тому

      Hi Speedy. 100% agree. Belts can take some damage too. I have a few webbing belts with elastic that softer than the normal webbing and they're bobbling on the back. My easy solution would be for companies to have the hook on the back with a 1.5" strip and the loops on the front using a 1.75 or 2" strip. The extra over hang would be enough to ensure the hook doesn't get catch on things

    Hey dude have you tried Helikon-Tex MBDU Pants Combat Military Cargo bdu utp trousers multicam Tactical. I'd not you should try them . Recently got a pair and they are very good.

      Hi Bobby, sorry for taking a while to get back to you. I think I have these. I know I definitely have the SFU Next pants which I love. I think I have these though. I'll have to check. I've got two pairs from when I startred playing airsoft and never got round to making content one

    Velcro when contaminated with sand, dirt, mud, snow/icy water can stop working. The pocket flaps, the front waist “belt” and the knee pad secure straps will become problematic for securing. Just something to be aware of.

    Hy Sir. What is the waist size of the pants relative to your waist line. Is important to know for a good choice. Respect!

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  3 місяці тому

      Hi there, hope you're well. Rather than S, M, L, Arktis go by waist size. I'm a 36" waist and I got the same size waist in the pants. They fit perfectly and as expected. I'd say their measurements are spot on. I hope that helps 🤘

      Woodland is a timeless classic. They do them in Pencott too if you're after a pair. If you tell them I sent you they'll sort you out with some neon orange Pencott for that awesome CoD look and feel 🤣

  • @maltaconvoy

    I like the waist on these much better than the C111 series from Arktis, but at my age (12+ years older than you) - though physically fit - not sure I can “pull off” the look. I prefer the Arktis C111 except for the waist system (belt-less velcro, no belt loops), which I don’t like and isn’t reviewed well. Not sure which way to go … 🙁

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  Рік тому

      Hi MC. I'd seen the C111 trousers but never noticed the waist system before until you mentioned it. It's definitely a unique closure. They remind me of the old fashioned Edwardian double fronted pantaloons. Now I'm even more curious about these. I might ask if I can get a pair 😅

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  Рік тому

      Hi Konstantin. They're definitely more expensive than something from Helikon-Tex or 5.11 Tactical however compared to Crye Precision or UFPro, they're very reasonable. Are you thinking about buying more tactical pants like this?
