I have binge watched 20 episodes back to back and no end in sight. You have a fantastic way of showing all the detail that most people gloss over. I am so much more confident in doing some of the bigger jobs after watching these. Apart from some specialty tools these bikes really are beautiful to work on. Hi! Love the videos, really helpful! I can see in the background that you have faced the engine face down. What does the wood support against? I can see it is not touching the edge of the housing, correct?
Hi Frederik. It’s resting on two blocks of wood. The one furthest from the camera is resting at the very top of the timing chain cover. You can make it out at about 14 mins into the video.
The Long Way There. Sweet! Thanks! I’ve just read that its quite important not to make the edge on the timing cover/housing uneven? Btw. Im doing similar project, but it is my first motorcycle project ever and im 23 so not much experience, so your videos are a great help! Please keep posting and do not take down your videos :D
