sort of. the thing is that we can look at millions of snowflakes to check how many are identical, but so far we are only sure there is life on one planet. there's a bunch of scientists checking all the planets (and moons!) we've been discovering to see if they have similar conditions to life on Earth, but it takes a long time, it's really hard, and it's only been happening for like 20 years. we're not even sure there isn't life on Mars or Europa, and they're in our solar system. a sample size of one isn't ever going to be representative.
Is one hundred percent certainty life elsewhere in the universe it's just the distances are too great.

that disregards the fact that space is incredibly and insanely distant. Our collective effort of finding life in the universe is about as compsrable as a hot tub compared to the sea.
There might be life, there might be not. The distance in space is the greatest hurdle that can prove or disprove this question.
