Does the monitor base have a SD card to record the video?

No, but Aqua-Vu has an optional recorder that works through an HDMI connection to your smart phone. Check it out . AV Connect HD Recorder - bit.ly/3lLsUEu

as a life long resident of Michigan and living near Detroit. We never fished and especially ate anything from the Detroit river!!! Do you know what's flowing into that river upstream? I hope your not eating any of that fish. Take a boat ride up stream into Lake St. Clair and into the St. Clair river and see what Canada and the U.S. has along the shoreline . I grew up never going near Detroit for fishing, we all went north of Pt. Huron to fish for clean safe fish to eat. Now if you only sport fishing (catch and release ) fine. BUT DONT EAT THE FISH!

Of course it's better to eat your big steak full of hormones pesticides herbicides fertilizers and polluted water

You sound stupid as fuck because all these waters connect to the Detroit River, the same water mixes with it.
