Hey, I own a HOA management company in Mexico. We started about 3 years ago. I can see that it's a very similar business in USA. Same responsibilities and issues with property and owners. It's not a business for people that doesn't like to deal with other people. Home owners can be the most unreasonable people at times. Conflict between owners, the board and the managing company can escalate very easily, and people tend to show their worst side in these situations: insults, personal attacks and even physical confrontation. The income level of the HOA members does not mather. Yet, sometimes, it can be very fulfilling seeing a community thrive, happy owners, beautiful amenities, parks and common areas, kids playing, and neighbors being good and friendly with each other. This is our goal and I believe we make people's lives better and an help make for a happier world...
