I am the owner of our Google group, and I send out most of the communication. Our problem is this: if anyone in the group responds to my message, their message will display above mine, and mine will be pushed down. If several comments are added, my original email can get pushed down so far that it is unlikely to be seen by latecomers. To prevent this is it possible to anchor my message to the top of the thread, or is there a way to block members from replying to my emails? I can't block them from posting at all though because they need to be able to author their own communications. Any other suggestions are most welcome.
Hi, is there a way to restrict Super Admins from viewing conversations? By default, Super Admins can view conversations and emails in All Groups in an org.
Hi. Good video. At the begining of the video you should explain what is the purpose of the group. Is it only an email group, or is it also a google space group?
Do you know how to allow responses to an external sender that sent an email to a group you are a part of?
Well done on this! Thanks for the quick clarity!
You’re welcome!
@@itGenius_ I would love to have you on my podcast for visionary business leaders if you're open to it. Let me know and I'll send you the trailer.
Google Groups seem to work differently for Drive and Calendar, and Spaces. This is a major problem (unless I am really missing something).
is it possible to see groups email one pool , like microsoft 365 shared mailbox
Do you not have to set "Who Can Post" to External to allow people to email the group?
Hi there, great question. Pop this question into ask.itgenius.com/ and we will get Pete to answer it on his next Q&A series 🙂
Yes, you do. Otherwise the external email will bounce back to the sender.

Is there a way I can reply to the emails that go to my group with the group's email address so that my own email address is not seen?

super admins can see everything via tools like vault so it would be moot to try and block them from groups
is there a use case im missing?
