- The Overwatch 2 Season 11 midseason patch is here! In it comes the new Transformers collab, featuring skins for Reinhardt, Bastion, Ramattra, and Illari. We've also got a new balance patch focusing heavily on Tank heroes!

I'm sure that was in the discussions, but it probably fell through due to licensing issues, particularly with who owns the song, etc.
So this whole season was 80s-90s TV with Power Rangers, Baywatch and Transformers
and some Japanese inspiration with kaiju and ultraman
I realize now, they missed the chance to make Optimus Primal Winston.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that was expecting Reinhardt to have a Energon Axe instead of a hammer
the license plate is an onomatopoeia of the transformation sound effect
I wanted more decepticon skins shame. Pharah would’ve made a killer starscream

I feel like they could have done a bit more for Bumblebee. Maybe mold his face to look a bit more like, well... Bumblebee. Though, I have to say I do love the turret mode!

They could have atleast made the illari skins eyes glow blue, it looms so weird to just have human eyes on a entirely metal skin

They seriously didn't put in any Bumble Bee voice lines. This seems a bit underwhelming overall.
These skins literally have more effort put into them than any skin in a long time (exclusing mythics) and bastion cant talk what would you have wanted the voice line to be
@@illegalpizza7285 It would have been awesome to give him some voice lines for 'Hello', and 'Thank you', etc. done like Bumblebee where they are taken from bits of radio transmissions.
In one of the TFs shows Transformers Prime Bee only talked in beeps

I’m disappointed that there were no free skins for both events. They just give us crap I could honestly care less about. I don’t care about the player icons, player titles, and sprays.
No free skin for doing challenges this time like cowboy bebop...

Ngl, i thought bastion would be shockwave, since he already has weapon arm, and his turet form could resemble the tank mode from dark of the moon
But him being bumble bee is kinda cute and cool too

They didn’t make reins hammer an energon axe, definitely the biggest let down for me, they had the perfect chance and yet they still somehow mess it up 🙁
We all know the pairing is gonna be the new Mythic weapon with Optimus Rein

@@_kelso9959 First of all, it's not a free game. I paid $60 for Overwatch 1 and this is the same goddammn game. Secondly, just because something is free doesn't mean you have the right to charge $25 for a single cosmetic. There are incredible indie games that cost less than that and have tons of content. For the cost of this bundle of 3 skins you can buy a AAA game. It's insanity. And it's dumb cvnts like you that perpetuate this pricing.

Optimus has used a hammer a couple times before but it should have been his energon axe
Mauga should have been Megatron. His bulky build and canons would have fit Megatron so much better
1: both ramattra and megatron are a robot
2: Ramattra is primarily purple just like megatron
3: both ramattra and megatron are evil
4: both ramattra and megatron are leaders of an evil robot army
5: both ramattra and megatron transform

Sad that Illari didn't get a highlight intro. She's only had threw since her release last year. She's no underdeveloped.
Illari could've gotten a proper robotik mask/face, she looks like she just slapped on some grey paint.
arcee just looks like she has face paint in a lot of versions, the problem is that this skin has a grey face instead of white
To think I actually looked forward to this. As a transformers fan I thought this would bring me back to overwatch. How did they not give optimus his axe. These devs aren't even trying
-they didnt give him his axe
-Ramattra looks nothing like Megatron
-Voicelines are lame considering they could have given them iconic quotes
-Rein doesnt transform in his charge

I really like the Bumblebee & Optimus skins, but the Megatron one just looks like regular Ramattra 😂 I don’t even think I’d notice that was a skin in a regular game

Not sure why the patch notes mentioned the mythic weapon but it’s been stated before and it does say it will be available July 23rd
I think the laser beak reminds me of the minicon from armada series because the orange colour scheme
The only complaint I have about this collab is that they chose Illari to be Arcee, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ECHO, with the OR OR AH AH sound on the dupe

Ramattron needed a ponytail, hope they explore that on some future skins for Ram
if you think about it, Reinhardt has a few duo skins, like bloodhardt and blackhardt, lionhardt and stonehardt. it would've been cool if they gave him the megatron skin as well. his model fits the beefy transformer stature
Or Nemesis Prime/Shattered Glass Prime as a free reward recolor
If you wear the Demon Rein skin and equip his new highlight into… lol
Anyone else low-key really disappointed with the update? The skins are cool but they could’ve done so much much more ( feel like they gotta kinda lazy with the Megatron skin)
It was already gonna be hard with ramattra as megatron since he’s already basically megatron lol, but at least the nemesis mode slaps
I have the skins unfortunately the only one who has a sound from what I heard was bastion bumblebee for when he changes to sentry and using ult. Tho their voices have changed slightly, also the mythic weapon comes out on the 23rd of this month if I remember correctly
I am in love with the rein intro, what a good reference.
I'm super excited about this, but I'm not much of an Overwatch player at the moment. Something I'm worried about is that, it took me 5 tries to get into a lobby last night where I could play as Damage, hoping I could play Bastion. And immediately upon getting in there, Bastion was taken in a fraction of a second. It frustrated me so much, and I'm wondering if it was just bad luck?
theres also two new ow league skins i think are coming out soon for reaper and genji, just diff color variants of their old ones

If you didnt tell me Ram was Megatron beforehand, I wouldn't have known who it was. I'd even see the decepticon symbols and be wondering what transformer he was meant to be
theres only 4 skins? is that normal for OW2? i remember there being way more skins for events in OW1

Oh btw the bastion skin has the transformers transform sound when he transforms to his assault form and neat different sound when transforming into his artillery and of course sounds when he transforms out of them +sick voice changer

I love that the text for the Reinhardt voiceline: "We have suffered losses..." is spelled "We have suffered LOSES...". From now on when referring to OW2, I will discuss my wins and LOSES.
Thats not Laserbeak he's a Decepticon and it wouldn't make since to give Ramatron an allspark on his staff they based the skins off of G1

It could have been better if they didn't give Bastion Bubble bee skin since his stealth OW1 skin is Transformer Shockwave. It would have been nice to see more options. Transformer sound needs to be in there - and Roll Out. The Prime RC skins look best. But I feel the Team might have missed the mark just a bit with this one. Still a good colab just not sure if is my favorite. Not for the price for sure.
Somehow they managed to make them look worse than the null sector skins. Minus bastion, who was already a transformer.

Ram's is my fave, it still looks like him which i like!
I love the Arcee skin but it looks a bit uncanny with her normal face. I wish they had put some lines on he face or bigger eyes or made her face a bit more jagged. Still, all the skins look incredible.
For me personally ram and bastion (exception tank mode) looks more like recolors than transformers skin
Love the enthusiasm 😌 ram's new skin isn't as good but I do love the nemesis mode

So we have Optimus Primehardt, Illarcee, Bastionbee, and Ramattron
Was super hyped - went ahead and bought the whole Transformers Pack as soon as it went live - Disappointed with the voice lines which could have been so much better to really set that Transformers feel while in battle and in character. The voice lines and how they sound overall are pretty generic. The Bumblebee highlight is cool with the Skin because you can actually hear the transforming sound effect but it's too bad the transforming sound is not more prominent in match with any of the four skins. The Optimus Skin does look awesome. Underwhelmed overall but I might have just set my expectations way too high. Either way i'm a sucker for the Transformers so no regrets.

idk if i should get it or not cuz i dont play any of them and i know i wouldnt use those skins over the ones i own

I’m not a transformers fan, so maybe that’s showing, but only the Optimus primehardt looks really good imo.. to pay 60 dollars for the bundle or 25 for just one feels crazy. I understand the game is free now, but it feels like they make one crazy good buyable skin per season. yet they all cost the same price, idk
