Cloud ☁️ definitely has the look of a wise distinguished gentleman who has witnessed all kinds of things in his 2 decades living wild I can’t help but laugh at Creed wanting to play & Cloud wanting none of it (you can definitely hear the sound of his powerful kick😁❤️🔥😳)I suppose it’s true when they say opposites attract;Creed has much to learn about being a grown up stallion but maybe that’s why Cloud puts up with the kid,he knows he can teach him what he’s learned likely from older boys when he was his age. It’s always so interesting to watch the young horses learn from the ones who came before them just as we do it’s always so special to catch a glimpse of beautiful Dolly & Flax,Evan is incredibly handsome as well I do love a bay wildie.🌅🐎✨🔥🤎🏔️
Another great video, Karen. Thanks so much for allowing us to come along. Is it typical for a two-year old to already be away from his momma and band? His face gives away his young age. He looks like a baby. Cloud sure straightened him out! Ouch, that kick had to hurt. Also, do the band mares tend to bond? Btw, your art is beautiful. I considered purchasing one but man the exchange rate killed that idea. I am in Canada.
My question is who determines the names of the horses and how is this told to others who follow the horse herds? Also do you ever produce videos of the horses in the winter, or is this too difficult to be done? Thank you for all you do, very much appreciated.
The horses are named when they are born by volunteers who find them first. All names are documented with sire/dam if possible. This park has kept records since the 1950's. It's such a challenge to film in winter with severe temps and snow, but I do hope I can some day. I would need a good 4 season camper to do this and big all terrain tires and then still pray Idon't get stuck. 😊
Nothing more beautiful than America's wild horses! 🐎 🐴 🐎
Agreed!
Karen, thank you for another awesome video. Beautiful horses. ❤❤❤
You're welcome!
Cloud it's great that he's 20, his friendship with Creed is funny, I'm glad he has him by his side.
Great video!
Yes, I was so thrilled to see him!
I don't think they are related. Cloud is 20 and Dolly is 18. Dolly is out of Lacey and sired by Double Trouble.
Beautiful❤❤❤
Perfect❤❤❤
Merci pour vos vidéos. Hello from Belgium...
Thank you for watching!

Thank you!
Thanks so much Karen. Oh but wouldnt it be lovely if this is what the weather was right now, lol. Love the mare Daisy? I believe you said?
Yes, I'm sure it is in the single digits in North Dakota right now. At least the horses don't have to deal with the biting insects now.

The young colts are usually kicked out of their natal bands at 2-3 years old, depending how threatening they are to the band stallion.
