I've always loved beetles. They're not really threatening, even when they're giant, and their colorful, shiny shells are very pretty to look at. A beetle like this is basically just a big ladybug with a horn, and to the beetle you're probably like a big, weird tree.

When i was young, i slept in the living room of my parents farm. I was with a blanket in my head because of the mosquitoes.

Eh, I do not really freak about flying insects, my main issue is just when they get too close to my face, I have bad luck and have had plenty of bugs fly in my face before, but honestly I kinda love bigger insects like this because they actually seem a bit more like pets than others since you have a bit more telling on how they feel about you, with the only exceptions for this rule to me being jumping spiders.

I have one of these beetle's, its dead perfectly preserved looks just like that one. It's over 60 years old passed down to me from a family memeber and it was owned by an entomologist. They make really interesting pets and are actually really pretty in their own way. If you live anywhere in the Americas you can find them, although the north American ones are about 2/3rds the size of these.
