The fact that Otto was SOOOO mad at Aegon that he admitted to usurping the throne sent me. I’m an unwavering supporter of Team Black, but this episode made me feel for the CHILDREN of Team Green. They have no support system. Helaena has never wanted to be touched by Alicent. Aegon was never prepared for what they thrusted upon him and his own mother lacks the ability to comfort him (seen when she literally walks away to play hide the candlestick with Criston Cole instead of staying with him) Aemond takes comfort in a Lady of the Night and treats her as a mother figure. The difference between last episode with Rhaenyra comforting Jace and this episode with Alicent and her children couldn’t be starker.
I have no doubt that Aemond was seeking maternal, rather than sexual, comfort with the brothel madam. It was a very well done scene. We've never seen Aemond emotionally naked (not to mention physically naked) and voicing uncertainty. I am convinced that he sought that comfort from the madam because he feels guilty for having killed Luke and he needs his mother, they've always been close, but she was furious with him for killing the boy. And now the war is escalating; Aemond is smart enough to be aware of his own responsibility, and he needs his mother, but she's withdrawn her support from him. Let's not forget that Aegon has illegitimate children whom he doesn't care about, left to fend for themselves in those fighting pits (Season 1), he's a hard R word who attacks innocent women, and now although he lost a son it seems like he cares more about what it did to his status and how people see him, than truly being sorry his son is dead. Notice how a lot of the things he says are narcissistic and making things about himself, even when talking about his own child... "murderer threatened THEIR KING", "laughing at ME", "how dare they attack ME", "I will not be seen as weak", "MY son is MY legacy", etc and not grief for his son, nor does he have any concern for his wife. He doesn't comfort Halaena, or really talk to her. It's all "me, me, me". Basically Aegon seems like he's going to be a narcissistic tyrant, and Sir Simpsalot is just going to enable him. He already kills innocent people (there was what, 10 dead, 1 actually guilty? Idk if there were more we couldn't see) for "attacking" him, because they hurt his pride, what will he do next?
Part of why the surviving Twin (I can't remember which of them worked for the Queen Arryk or Erryk but that one won) killed himself was 1 part "fuck i just killed my brother and I want to die" and I believe 1 part "there's no way anybody in this room knows which twin I am right now so they will never trust me and they will kill me themselves"
Nah, all Rhaenyra had to do was ask him about what she told Erryk to do with Mysaria an hour ago. Arryk didn't recognize Mysaria, but Mysaria definitely knew there were twin brothers, one serving each side. She saw one with Otto last season when Otto was buying information. As for trust, Erryk killed his own brother to protect Rhaenyra. I'd say that makes him pretty trustworthy, considering that he had already been accepted for bringing the crown and pledging his loyalty previously. It was totally grief why he committed suicide.

Clap clap clap "that's a bad mf" 😂😂 because I share EXACTLY the same sentiments. I singlehandedly have such a strong disdain for Daemon because of his selfishness but also admit he is superior badass. A true grey character. He gets me hype despite knowing he's chaotic and I never know what to expect
I'm dying laughing hearing you guys roast Crispy Cole or in your words, Orlando Bloom lol Daemon killing him would be a better end for him ngl and you wanting his head on a spike is what actually happens in the books but I can't wait how they do it in the show. I imagine it's gonna be different but way better in the show
When Otto called the twin swap plan a “prank” I lost it. Such a great way to put it. The acting in this episode was insane, it was a whole episode of just pure character driven drama and actors were given so much room to just act. I honestly think House of the Dragon is topping Game of Thrones, which just seems quite corny and Jack in comparison to this show which has a kind of classiness about it that wasn’t there with Game of Thrones
Otto literally proposed to send assassins to kill Rhaenyra and her entire family. He's infuriated that Cole and Aegon went around him and only sent one assassin. Total hypocrite.
The death of the twins is truly a tragedy. They were clearly committed to protecting the royal family and upholding the values of the kings guard, only for their leader to pit them against one another and get them killed because he couldn’t take responsibility for his own failures. The two brothers clearly loved each other, but were placed in a scenario where neither could be allowed to not finish their task, and because of their love for one another, they could also not live with accomplishing said task. Cole is a giant piece of shit, and he deserves what’s coming.
If it is okay, I would like to make a Movie Trailer Reaction Video request. If you guys haven't already seen it yet then is there any chance you can do a Reaction Video to the New Trailer that came out today for the Upcoming Movie "NOSFERATU" ?
I don’t feel bad for Aegon grieving his son! Don’t forget he fathered a lot of bastards and let them fight against each other to death!! (Episode 9 saison 1) THAT was sickening! And he raped Dayana (a child)!
Honestly im neutral at this point , both sides have messed up and for the most part the biggest issue is team green taking the throne but to be fair that’s only because alicent misunderstood what the king was saying on his deathbed and you can see where both sides issues are and I feel for people on both sides because most of them are just given crap situations and the greens kids never stood a chance with how they were raised , Aegon didn’t even want to be king and people blame him for not being ready when he said he’d be a terrible king and tried to run but he loved the feeling of being loved by people because his family never did
For Aegon to be this upset about the death of his son is understandable, but where was this energy for the illegitimate children he fathered? That were having their teeth sharpened and made to fight last season. I think he’s more upset about it being his heir more than his son. It never showed him as a doting father until he became the king. All of this is a reflection of Alicent and her lack of embrace for any of her children. Aemond clearly has issues with that as he’s seeking the comfort in an older madam to literally comfort him while in a fetal position.
Naming Cole as his hand of the king is tantamount to going and getting trashed in Las Vegas getting married to a stripper you just met and going with it even when you get sober that is how dumb this whole plan is

Yeah he always been like that and it just ruins the reaction. Like if it’s a skit or be the one opposing opinion then I get it but he just finds a way to disagree about anything especially characters like Rhaenyra he doesn’t get it
He ruins every reaction
Clap clap clap "that's a bad mf" 😂😂 because I share EXACTLY the same sentiments. I singlehandedly have such a strong disdain for Daemon because of his selfishness but also admit he is superior badass. A true grey character. He gets me hype despite knowing he's chaotic and I never know what to expect
Yep it’s the authors favorite Targaryen he’s a great grey character and telenovela wise
Same lol. I think he’ll always be my favorite no matter how cruel he gets 😅
3:42 had me rolling
I'm dying laughing hearing you guys roast Crispy Cole or in your words, Orlando Bloom lol Daemon killing him would be a better end for him ngl and you wanting his head on a spike is what actually happens in the books but I can't wait how they do it in the show. I imagine it's gonna be different but way better in the show
bro, I kept expecting that head to plop into that puddle for real.
You guys are so funny ahahah love your reactions, tb 🖤
The dragon you saw was Sea Smoke Lanore’s old dragon. The two men Allyn and Adam is Corlys illegitimate sons.
Why spoil it for folks that haven’t read the books?
@AmanCreatesArt,
My apologies didn’t mean to jump the gun.
I never hated a character as much as i hate Criston Cole. Not even Joffrey Baratheon
I don't know; Joffrey was pretty bad, though. Cole is coward
Joffrey was a little shit but pretty fun sometimes. Cole is just nasty
Its funny that Otto was mad about Cristons plan. It almost worked.
@@struggleskywalker1025 and yet, Otto's plan was to send the entire Kingsguard...as assassins.
@@KylieIsOverItyeah, the ENTIRE KINGSGUARD, not a single man on a fools errand. otto may be a piece of shit, but hes not an idiot
@@stew-03it didn’t tho
Daemon go to Harrenhal i think. Because Harrenhal is key for war and they not support Green and Black in this time
I bet Damon went to get that second dragon he bonded with
The death of the twins is truly a tragedy.
That trailer was wild! The movie was not even on my radar, and now I must see it!
Team House Hightower all the way!!✊
I don’t feel bad for Aegon grieving his son! Don’t forget he fathered a lot of bastards and let them fight against each other to death!! (Episode 9 saison 1) THAT was sickening! And he raped Dayana (a child)!
True !
That what was Ulf the white he's similar to Hugh the hammer
Game of thrones kids have never been safe remember roberts bastards cercei had killed
It was Joffrey who killed them
@@memecity9849 no it wasn't cercei was mad Jeffrey asked about his bastards so she had them killed
@@being2real943 Joffrey had them killed so they wouldn't have a claim to the throne
@@memecity9849 yea true
@@memecity9849 Joffrey had them killed in the book; it was implied in the show that Cersei gave the order.
The other one kicked the dog
Cheese kicked his own dog after blood choked him
Otto Hightower crashed out
Honestly im neutral at this point , both sides have messed up and for the most part the biggest issue is team green taking the throne but to be fair that’s only because alicent misunderstood what the king was saying on his deathbed and you can see where both sides issues are and I feel for people on both sides because most of them are just given crap situations and the greens kids never stood a chance with how they were raised , Aegon didn’t even want to be king and people blame him for not being ready when he said he’d be a terrible king and tried to run but he loved the feeling of being loved by people because his family never did
Damon went to Harrenhal where he will be for most of the season.
Is alyn the voice of biyek from siwa?
Kinslaying is the worst sin in westeros, so twin had to end himself for it.
Awesome reaction of my favorite House Of The Dragon episode!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
👍
For Aegon to be this upset about the death of his son is understandable, but where was this energy for the illegitimate children he fathered? That were having their teeth sharpened and made to fight last season. I think he’s more upset about it being his heir more than his son. It never showed him as a doting father until he became the king. All of this is a reflection of Alicent and her lack of embrace for any of her children. Aemond clearly has issues with that as he’s seeking the comfort in an older madam to literally comfort him while in a fetal position.
Aegon has no idea that he has bastards. Tom Glynn-Carney made this clear in an interview.
Naming Cole as his hand of the king is tantamount to going and getting trashed in Las Vegas getting married to a stripper you just met and going with it even when you get sober that is how dumb this whole plan is
🖤
I need Jace to kill either Aemond or Aegon or both.
Game of thrones had Jon Snow and all of the Starks to root for. This show there is no one who is a "good guy" Who do you go with?
