  • To replace the end of "Uncommon events on the road", This series of videos will be more refined in terms of just the pure careless drivers.
The format is more raw and has descriptive text showing my thoughts relating to the encounter.

With you commenting about the van driver behind you squeezing through a late amber. Today I stopped at an already red light positioned in front of a zebra crossing, for some clearly signposted roadworks, and a boy racer overtook me at the zebra crossing, running the red light. Luckily nobody was on the crossing.
There are some right idiots on the road.
    Great video.
2:08 whilst you are correct, the red car did have to slow due to the car in front turning left. The driver was being polite letting someone out in traffic, looking at your camera view, you could see their brake lights and the white car at the junction, over the roof of the red car. If you were in a car this would not be an issue. It might be that I've been riding for nearly 40 years, or we're a bit more relaxed out here in the sticks, but I don't think I'd have tried overtaking at that junction. Mainly because you're putting yourself in the path of a careless oncoming driver turning right into that junction. But that's just my opinion.
The second incident is wrong though, that driver is driving badly and would be at fault if there had been ab accident.
I'm glad I don't have to drive in London. Did it once, never again.

Whenever I see a car or van with a broken mirror, I always assume they've done something to deserve it. I'm always proven correct in my assumption.

White van man at the beginning could only really see him speeding that was all, If other car users let someone out then there is nothing in law to say you cant be courteous, that's what half the rules are, it's whether it's safe to do so is the question. I have no time for people not paying attention, not indicating, or general being a muppet on the road and sadly 85% of drivers fall into this category, because they are lazy drivers and always in a rush.

Have you had any issues with the bike turning into a kangaroo during hot days?? Just had this problem over the last 2 days.

LabGorilla Yeah it did happen when I was using a dual carriageway in hot weather. I now avoid a long trip when it’s hot. The kangaroo throttle is probably the bikes biggest flaw.
