Honda CB125F - A summary

I was taken on an enjoyable ride in the countryside, by this. A Honda CB125F. It's light and agile, nimble, sporty, exiting, adventurous, when it's on single track roads.

UA-cam HD processing incompetence. second time lucky. A bike for the city. Biggest and most notable cost is insurance. Beyond that, its money for nothing, trips for free.

Having been on the road for a mere 3 years, this simply an interesting idea which required sharing. Those that are interested in my concept- there are many other processes and operations which relate directly with aviation, although it can snowball off into the oblivion... I might do further videos going into the specific details of the concept.

My experience of ownership giving an overview of the characteristics and my personal experience. At the end I mention the fact that owning a motorcycle is an expense, however, it is considerably cheaper than using public transport. Why did u stop uploading
Good video I am quite tempted to buy one especially now I learn they are made in Italy and not on the cheap in the Third World like many other small bikes are Cheers
Cool, hope you didn't get a ticket there or anything lad
Do you think I t be got for like 5'2-5'3 riders
I'm not a mechanic but I like the subject and I have a great time when I'm a mechanic. A few days ago I did the valve adjustment on this MT and to do it correctly you also have to remove the radiator and disconnect all the cables under the tank, this way you will have free access to the valves, I did it in about two hours, and if anyone It works, I did it because when accelerating the engine it sounded as if it had something, loose parts in the engine, and it is the valves with the tappet that are not regulating well, later you will see that the engine sounds much better and even runs much smoother and gentle.
The moment you saw the truck and said "Oh that's a great fucking parking" you earned both my like and subscription
i am planning on a 1200km one way in the neat future with this
Thanks for the info, about to have one next year
If you got a newer module thats even worse mate
What an awesome view for doing the u-turn and emergency stop :)
Stock 2021 CBF125 came with 14 on the front, should we go up to 15?
Hey! Are you still riding motorbikes? Been a while since ur last video.
I have an 2021 mt 125 and when i go to 4000 rpm comes out a sound like tiking . Someone can help me with some ideas ? I have 20000 km .
Its a common thing mine tiking
Is this something that’s covered in a service? Or do u have to take to mechanic specifically for this task? Mins is at 2900 miles, should I be getting them checked ?
Excellent Presented, , looking for Some one to make my UA-cam Vids as Cool as yours 👍
Great video, have done the run myself, get yourself an airseat and problem cured! 👍 Did you go down the 303.
Toped at 75? That seems a bit ambitious 65 is more accurate
Top speed ?
I know this video is old but I am bout to buy a MT125 and I am wondering did you have any problems with wind when travelling since it doesn't have a windshield like r125 does?
Hi ive got on 2015 model, could you please send me a link for your top box and the rack. I have had a look on line but dont know witch one fits properly... Many thanks. Miguel.
Greetings ftom Hong Kong,my 2016 cb125f was brought from riding school
How the hell you manage to hit 75? I’m lucky to hit 63
Reliable motorcycle. Millions sold in India. I think they call it the Honda "Shine" 🤓
Thanks for showing the bike. Considering purchasing one and your comments have helped me make a descision to purchase. Cheers
CB125F in Yellow 2018. Nice to ride and easy to maintain. Great on fuel too!
Very nice video. Im thinking of getting one of these. I do like the top box you have there is it a honda one. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
You are an angel among us
Very interesting video! Bet its quite similar results on my CB125F but I know its a few less HP than this bike lol!
What did you set ur inlet and exhaust valves? Unsure what best to set mine if just best go in middle of the specified measurement
If I didn't need a van for work or if I was commuting I'd use one of these. I have other bikes with larger engines but I'd still have one of these as my daily rider should I ever need to.
My brother MT is making a tapping noise but goes when revs could this be the valves needing cleaning??
The engines do rattle alot I wouldn't worry, if it only does it after the bikes warmed up then it's the valves
Can you show me how to remove the starter motor from the MT 125? I already tried but I don't have space to remove it. I have to disassemble something else to remove
Its a pity Honda didnt trade some of the amazing mpg for a bit more power. 11 horse power/ 7.5 ft lbs no better than their 125s of 40 years ago.
what happend to the derbi Terra? have you been happy with it or many problems?
yeah a few problems and a high fuel consumption 50mpg like a car.
I have a 2006 CG125 which was geared up slightly, must have been done by a previous owner for 'cruising', these bikes don't have the torque to pull higher gears, understandable on something like an Enfield with plenty of low revving pull but not on these, I have now geared it down slightly from standard and it's transformed,l; pulls away nicely instead of having to abuse the clutch! 0-30mph on these 125s feels fairly brisk, it's going from there to higher speeds that isn't so good, 60 seems like a lifetime to achieve but the sweet spot is around 50mph I find anyway and it's a pleasure to potter around at this velocity on a small bike.
I have an 07 cg 😃 by far the best bike I've owned and can see exactly what you mean with the top end issue (I ride a lot of 50+ zones) however I have a cbf back wheel on it and it's been a pain in the arse because the brake shoes are different and the sprocket bolts are in different places.. also tyres are tubed on the cg. Nice simple bike to work on though 👌🏻
If you get 75 you're doing very well or have some modifications
I’m lucky to hit 63
Sometimes its best to turn your mind off and just get on with it as things happen so fast you have no time to think rationally.👍
Thanks for the video! What do you think about the rear suspension? I recently tried an older model and seemed a but too hard, I was wondering how it is on a newer model.
I own many bikes. This has one of the best stock suspensions that I’ve tried. Cheap bike in this case doesn’t mean cheap suspension. Highly recommended. I weigh 80kg. In fact I’ve had mine for a year and every time I get on it I’m amazed at how good the over all bike is for the price.
@@florme6494Yes, thank you. I too weight around that. I tried to buy a new one but here in Bulgaria the dealer didn't have it, and I ended up buying a second hand 2017 model with less than 10,000 km. Yes, super cheap and easy to ride, and it goes 50 km per liter. Up until 80km/h runs fine, but when going faster it feels it's out of its comfort zone. Suspension is firm but not too hard after all.
Hi can u tell me where u can buy top box and fixing kit for this bike
Hey, could I please get some advice from someone who knows alot more about bikes than me? If everything goes right I will get my licence in 2 months from now, I’m 25 years old and have been driving cars since 17 yo but my interest in bikes peaked recently. I work around 50 miles from home and want a cheap bike to get to work for as little money as possible, but willing to invest in a brand new bike. Would this bike be up for the job? It’s all highway pretty much. Would it be a bad idea buying a CB125F? It’s air cooled, that’s worrying to me. Would it not be better to buy a Yamaha MT-125 for example because of the 4 valves and liquid cooling?
I like your videos! The end of This one is Nice.
Hi I'm from India. In our country we get this bike as honda sp125 ... give 70kmpl .... and demand service cost around Rs.16,000/- per year..... it's a popular bike in India.
Yup bhai engine but garm hota hain ess ka 🥲
i had this bike and ive made lots of mods... 16 front -2 in the rear top gear indicator using the N light for 5th gear all over DC power led lamps all over 300mm front brakes changed fulcram point of the rear brake lever = +50 brake power billet aluminum fuel pump casing . pre filter head porting . side racks for m2 a1 metal ammo boxes . all custom
Why not swap cylinder and piston for 150cc?
Iv one with less than 500 miles doing the same seems to go away above 6 to 7000 rpm tho they seem to think its valve clearances hope it works because its really annoying and they also told me the engines burn alot of oil for a brand new bike it's not filling me with confidence
125cc biker where did you get the rear rack from??
how much did the givi box cost?
With the carb' it's good to use 98 octane E5 fuel, because of only 5% bio-ethanol within the fuel. Ethanol attracts water and since carbs are open systems, having a bike standing for a few weeks means having a water-sludge residue building up inside the carburator-reservoir, which could potentially clogg up the nozzle. During the winter-season it is best either to drain the carburator (drain screw?) or have alkalyte fuel high octane without bio-ethanol on your last filling (and driving, it should be sucked into the carburator). After that you can put your bike in winter-rest without bigger concerns.
Very good vid and a great channel name XD
