What about "It's Time To Change?" And don't forget that Peter and Marcia did a record simply titled "Chris Knight & Maureen McCormick" in 1973 I think.

Peter had a horrible voice, and he knew it. From what I understand, he was the most reluctant of all the kids to begin a singing/recording career. In 1973, he was practically forced to put out a joint "Maureen McCormick/Chris Knight" album (those two were picked because they were the most popular Brady kids) - he was mortified at the sound of his voice, and they had to use every studio trick in the book to get him to sound presentable on the record.

Weird. I used to love this show as a kid (just because it was so psychedelic and weird), and yet I never consciously took notice of the fact that Jan was the only one to describe herself.
I did notice things like the redone opening sequence for the second season, as well as Greg Brady's new voice for that season. (According to IMDB, Marcia and Peter also got new voices, but I didn't notice those. In fact, I didn't learn it until just now)

Hal Sutherland did more than direct just this series and Star Trek, mslider. He and his partners, Lou Schiemer and Norm Prescott (1927-2005) co-founded Filmation Studios in the early 1960s and were the creative forces behind so many popular shows such as Superman, Batman, Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids, The Archies, He-Man and many other shows for more than 20 years. In fact, Lou Scheimer has a book coming out this fall called, "Creating The Filmation Generation".

@ebbowman Multiple factors. Sitcoms often deal with adult situations (by which I mean work, relationship, raising kids) and they don't have any angle to slant for a children's demographic. Secondly, these cartoons were ties ins to network shows. Networks have been wanting to get out of Saturday Morning for years now, as newscasts are more profitable. And lastly, few of them are even that good or add anything to the show to begin with. I'd rather watch original characters in an original show

also launched "FAT ALBERT AND THE COSBY KIDS",which went on to a long
CBS run,and also for 1st run syndication in 1983,when Filmation left Saturday
mornings, for the syndication market. but with "THE BRADY KIDS",this was the
first spin-off,that would eventually become a TV and movie franchise for the studio
Paramount, and a new generation of fans! anyone, who watched "A VERY BRADY
SEQUEL".Paramount's second Brady Bunch movie in 1996,will remember the brife
scene, exploiting the animated BRADY KIDS,although Filmation, which went defunct
in 1989,didn't do the animation here, the homage was still very clever, since it was spoofing much of its history. the second movie wasn't as good as Betty Thomas'
1995 "THE BRADY BUNCH MOVIE",,but it did accurately use the cartoon version
    effectively,and brifely!

I remember there is a scene in this cartoon where they play musical instruments: Greg is on lead guitar/vocals, Jan is on keys, Peter on bass, Cindy on rhythm guitar, Marcia is singing and playing tambourine, and Bobby is on drums.

@TheFrankenstein72: Burn Notice, Supernatural (about to become an anime show), Buffy The Vampire Slayer (almost a show for Fox Kids) Angel,Stargate, Firefly, The X-Files, Babylon 5, Star Trek TNG, Voyager, DS9, Enterprise, the Transformers movies, Tron Legacy (about to have an animated spinoff) Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Human Target, Hawaii Five-O...there's a surprising lot that could have animated spinoffs.

Because I have only seen a few episodes of this cartoon and that was when I was only eleven and twelve, I am unable to really agree or disagree with you. However, if I get to get reaquainted with the show in syndication or if I find episodes uploaded onto You Tube or other sites on the Internet, I will get back to you with how I feel.

When I was a kid, Peter Brady was one of the first guys I ever "liked". Thing is, I was so young I didn't know why I "liked" him, or wanted to be with him. I used to just think about being friends with him and playing together, and for some reason I tried to watch every episode of this show! Children really are innocent!

on a serious subject...I often wonder if voice actors for cartoons For "Any Cartoon" don't feel a bit silly or embarassed saying the lines in a script.. Yes it is a job and they do a great job for cartoons. but I wonder if they don't feel embarassed about it....Same could be said for Dialog in a TV show or movie.

Maureen McCormick is the best looking one of the whole show! They said Eve Plumb was pretty like a model and Maureen like Miss. America like Miss America but I could imagine Maureen modeling too!
BTW get the great new bio All About Jeffrey Hunter at amazon to read about the popular actor who tried to play Mike Brady!

'See our sisters, they're all quite pretty'
Jan is the only kid who describes herself, and Marcia and Greg are the only ones who have compliments for descriptions.
Also, the don't give you much time to 'meet the sisters' and 'meet the brothers.'
And Peter, Bobby and Cindy would not feel too special.

@Smartboy8877: The concept sucked big monkey balls because of the limitedness of the animation, the ridiculous storyline and supporting characters (the cartoon bird and dog)-I could go on,but I won't. Also, not having the other members of the family (not having Carol & Mike is pure stupidness.)
