Tribute to Vesa Ahlroth (Thank you for these years 2010-2020)

After 10 years of sharing the road of Fear of Domination, the drummer Vesa Ahlroth and the band part ways. This decision was made in mutual understanding and we’ll continue the journey as friends. In the honor of the past decade we made this tribute video for Vesa.
Vesa’s words for the band and fans:
“I still remember that phone call in January 2010, when my good friend Johannes Niemi called me to let me know that now there is a drummer chair open in FoD. I didn’t hesitate at all and said yes. I want to thank you all for sharing this over ten past years. This is an intellectual capital and I’ll cherish and remember with warmth.
Thank you Lasse Raelahti, Lauri Ojanen, Johannes Niemi, Jan-Erik 'Jinx' Kari, Saku Solin, Sara Vanhamäki, Miikki Kunttu, Tapio 'El Padre' Wilska, Hanna 'Valoirma' Niskanen, Niko 'Merkkarimies' Marttinen, Annica 'Loistokäsi' Tomminen, Niina Telén, Jarno Hänninen from D-Studio, Tuomas Kokko from Eletric Fox Studios, Santeri Pienimäki (Impression Cymbals), Janne Komppisorvaamo, Jami Huovinen, Mauro Garganano, Aileen Skara Bäus, Ranka Kustannus, Out of Line Music and all you fans, friends and acquaintances.
However, now is the time to move indefinitely aside from the duties of being the FoD drummer. Our paths may separate with the band, but one thing that doesn’t change or disappear is friendship. Everything is built on it and it carries on from now on!”- All the love with Vesa
Band’s last words for Vesa:
“These are not goodbyes. Vesa is an amazing drummer and comrade. It was a pleasure to share the journey with him for so many years. Countless good memories remained and now is the time to look forward to both the band and Vesa. I will miss Vesa’s genuine and selfless good humor on gig trips.” - Saku
“There are so many great, fun and warm memories from these past years with Vesa. Naturally I'm a little sad, but there are new things on the horizon for Vesa and the band, just in different directions. I wish all the best for Vesa wherever his paths may take him. He will always remain as a close friend to me and to the band.” - Jan-Erik
“How could one summarize over ten years of memories, gigs and just plain screwing around? I remember when FoD was in need of a new drummer and I called Vesa saying "there's a drummer place available". I was super excited that now we have a world class drummer in the lineup. And so, there was. I can't say I've also shared the experience with anyone else when Vesa had left his contact lenses on drunk of course and yours sincerely started (also very drunk) to take the lenses of from the drummer in predicament. I will always cherish the memories of sharing the stage with Vesa. It’s also funny to look back studio sessions of albums we've worked on. Thank you brother for these past years, gonna miss ya but hey. We're gonna see each other anyways.” - Johannes
“Vesa has the ability to sit quietly in the corner while others are chatting and then suddenly throw out a totally random one-liner that will crack everyone up. The same ability shines in his drumming. While being a solid drummer in keeping eveything rolling he might throw in a super quirky fill or pattern that keeps things fresh and interesting. I'm gonna miss you, bro!” -Lasse
