I don't think Hawkman is gone for good. Think back to the first episode where the Professor (their son) told the story of what happens to them (Kendra & Carter) from their previous lives. The team could eventually travel to this period and wind up retrieving Carter while Kendra made her sacrifice to save her son.
As far as I'm concerned ladies, with Carter dead, that just gives Cisco a second chance with Kendra, and I ship them. Also, you don't have to worry ladies since Carter will probably appear again, but in the other timelines. You all have a great day.
I personally didn''t really care about Carter. I didn't feel that he had an interesting personality - he just felt sorta there. But I know that he's not gone for good. They'll find one of he's reincarnations along the way.
srawa dernam Stephen Amell is indeed Canadian but I`m pretty sure Oliver is supposed to be Midwestern American although Stephen uses his natural accent but then the Canadian and Midwestern US accents are very similar anyway.

Agreed. I've never been the biggest fan of Hawkman, but I found him most intriguing as a hotheaded warrior, not a mopey lovesick puppy
