I'm new to sewing, and I just started making circle skirts for my 7 year old daughter. One short yard makes my daughter a perfect circle skirt with a few scraps... I used this method today, and now we can make matching headbands for all her skirts. Cute!! Thank you. :)

You all are so funny. I am a longarmer of quilts, and a quiltmaker. We do not like wasted fabric. But you are making this sooo oh well. Have fun with it. (what do you do with your scraps?) If you say throw away, please donate them to your local quilt guild. They probably make charity quilts like ours. Ive been making these headbands and everyone loves them. Thanks

I don't like how you wasted that fabric. You could have cut two headbands out of that. Even in a demo, you shouldn't do that because a beginner might think they have to place the pattern right in the middle. But, still a very good tutorial
🌞🌞🌞 He could have made at least four. And may I add, he sould have put the fabric flat and one inside the other. But, the final result is nice! I will make some for myself! 🌟🌟🌟

What's the advantage of using folded elastics vs regular elastics?

great vid, i hate how i go to a store and can't even find cute head bands for my self, they are all kids sizes or the adult sizes are still to tight to my head that it gives me a head ache, so i plan to make my own for me and my daughters, cause i love head bands but so frustrated when i cant get what i want at the stores, plus this is great cause i get to chose the fabric that suits me and my daughters best:)

wow I have been sewing for years and never did it that way, BUT that was way easier than my way!!! Also when you say 10 cents per headband you have to factor in time, electricity, plastic Bags, shipping envelopes, and the machine itself. Just sayin
Ummmmm, am I the only person that noticed that the template is a square? All to you have to do is curve it for a rounded end and make sharper points for more of a square look. But yes good video
